Yes... Still going!

We still have monthly appointments at the chiropractor for Sophia's head. Every month he tells us it is "almost" there! I am SO over it! We decided to go this route instead of a helmet because we thought it would be a two-three week done deal and yet here we are, over a year and a half later! At least we are down to once a month and not 3-4 days a week or every other week.

I am 100% sure if Seth needs a helmet he is SO getting one! I know big brothers and big sister will LOVE to decorate it :).

Sophia's 2 year check up

We went to Dr. Kaplans for Sophia's 2 year check up and she was A HOT MESS!!! She was in tears as soon as the nurse and Dr. Kaplan walked in. I had to take her clothes off to put her on the scale and she was yelling at me to "STOP IT, STOP IT". Tears were falling, snot was dripping and it was NOT pretty. The nurse measured her head and she climbed up me like a monkey, as soon as Dr. Kaplan walked in her finger went in her mouth and she started saying, "mommy, mommy", which is what she does when she gets nervous.

She had a hearing and vision test but could not get a reading on the hearing due to her screaming at the top of her lungs :) She had no vaccinations just a finger poke to check her iron levels. She did not even flinch when they poked her finger, just started screaming when the nurse put a bandaid on her finger. Of course she ripped it off and blood is oozing everywhere, by this time I am a sweaty mess and of course the HEAT is blowing out of the vent full throttle.

Other than that... she is PERFECT!

Sophia's piggies

Sophia got her piggies painted! I have been waiting a long time for this day :) I bought some "Piggy Paint" that says it is 'natural as mud'. She was so excited!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sophia

Happy Birthday Sophia! Where has the time gone? I was not sure how we were going to pull your party off! I was really early in planning your party so we could get it in before your new brother arrives. Your party was set to start at 10:00 Sat. morning. Invitations were out and then I find out that your registration for preschool is set for the SAME DAY starting at 8:30 that morning and I had to get on line to get a reservation number, which was 74 and be up at your school the morning of your party and hope that I would make it back in time not to miss anything.

I got up to the church about 8:15 and rolled in the drive way at 10:03. I was so happy I made it. Mimi and I got all the decorations done Friday afternoon so daddy would not have to worry about picking up the house, watching all three kiddos and finsih getting ready for the party. I walked in and was so happy! It looked great. Now to wait for the guests to arrive.

About half the guest showed up and was a nice size party. Soccer season started and a lot of the kids were sick. We missed all who could not join us.

Shout out to my girl Ashley for making the cake! Awesome job as usual.

Of course the dress she was going to wear had stains all over it when I pulled it out of the dryer and then she would have nothing to do with the back up dress so daddy went with what she would wear... she would NOT keep a bow in her hair and DO NOT EVEN ASK about the bib in every picture... I was assured that it was "not in the picture". I think I was just too tired at this point to argue :)

2 weeks to go

Went to the doctor today and everything looks great. I am measuring 2cm over and Dr. Garner said that he might be a big boy! Guess it really does not matter since I am having a c-section!

Besides not sleeping, the calf cramps during the night, heartburn and extreme pressure I am GREAT! :) This momma is ready to meet this little guy. I know it seems strange to say but I always get more sleep once the baby is here!

Lukie Has A Loose Tooth!

Luke's tooth has been a little loose for a while now. This morning he told me it was "more wiggly" and so I wiggled it and then noticed that the new tooth is already poked out behind it!

She's about to POP

Julianne and Carley had a shower for me this weekend. The theme was "she's about to POP" and everything turned out so adorable! Although the one thing that they could have done to REALLY make it would have been the bowl of nuts! (inside joke with The Mean Girls) LOL

I left with all kinds of great things and cannot wait to use them.

Kellen and Claire Baptism

Tonight we went to Claire and Kellens Baptism. We are so thankful to be able to celebrate this special time with The Caravellas. It seems crazy that there are so many little Caravellas and Sherpys running around seeing as how we (the parents) were that age when we met. After the ceremony we headed to Barbara and Ronnies for some dinner. The kids ran wild and had a great time together.

Amy and I are both going in on March 9th to have Allison and Seth! (I always knew I was Amy's favorite) ! LOL This will be the 9th grandchild on the Caravella and Sherpy side... Plano Presby is not going to know what hit them with the Caravellas AND Sherpys there all at once.

The best quote of the night... from Landry! I will set the scene, St. Francis is under construction and fences were up everywhere and Jonah says its like we are in prison... Big L follows that up with, "My dads been to a prison".
