Cousins come to Mimi & Papas

Stef, Tommy and the kids came to Dallas this weekend.  We spent lots of time in the pool for the three days they were here.

Fireworks In A Jar

I saw this fun project on Pinterest and thought the kids would love it.  We "tried" it and it was a FAIL!  Oh well... they had fun trying.   

Seth's 4 month & Luke's 7 year check up

The boys went in for a check up today.  It's always such a treat to take all four to the doctor... trying to listen to what the nurse or doctor is asking while all the kids are talking or asking questions.  

We talked about medication for Seth's reflux and decided against it since he does not cry or seem to be in pain when he barfs... ALL DAY LONG.  Dr. Kaplan told me he would grow out of it by 7 months or by the time he starts walking.  I sure hope so.  Poor baby, if you sit him up from laying down or lay him down after holding him upwards he barfs.  The poor child CANNOT get put in his carseat without barfing either.   I have never changed clothes so much and my sheets have never been changed so much either.  We hang out in my bedroom so he will not barf on the couch!  

Jonah has been begging to get out of a booster seat so I told him that he could talk to Dr.  Kaplan about it.  He took Jonah over to the scale and measured him.  He was 78lbs and 4'6" tall.  Dr.  Kaplan told him in the next 6-9 monhs he could get out.  Jonah was SUPER excited!  

Luke 7 year check up

Weight:  51lb 3.2oz

Height:  48.6 inches

BP:  100/64

Seth 4 month

Weight:  19lbs

Height:  26 inches

Head:  16.8 inches

Carley's Birthday Celebration

We did not have a typical "Mean Girls" Birthday dinner this year for Carley.  Luke got a couples dinner at Josephines and then cocktails and cupcakes at their house afterwards.  We were missing a couple of the "Mean Girls" so might have to get together again...  we can always use an excuse to get together :)  

Mom and dad came to watch the kiddos and Seth decided to make mommy and daddy look bad and NOT throw his nightly 20-30 meltdown.  Yea Seth!  We are so greatful that we do not have to pay for a babysitter EVER and we can go out and enjoy ourselves.  Thanks for a great night Carley and Luke!

Ever wonder what Justin would look like with long hair?  What about Luke as a girl.  Well, wonder no more!  Daph gave this wig to Sophia when we went to visit and we have a lot of fun with it.  

4th of July

We headed to mom and dads for some swimming and lunch then ended the day at Jason and Kelly's for an early mini surprise party for Jason.
