Recruit Of The Week

Luke is Recruit Of The Week this week... and next!  Luke came home Monday and told me he needed a poster for ROTW.  I asked what we were supposed to do and he told me he did not know.  I asked if Mrs.  Kerley gave him anything and he said he did not know...  Tuesday comes and goes, Wednesday morning he comes down stairs upset asking when we are going to get his poster board because it was due Monday.  I again asked questions he could not answer.  I told him that I would email his teacher to see what was to be done.  She asked if he had brought any of the papers home, there were two.  He did bring one home that was all nice and crumbled (center of poster).  I went and got the poster board and came home and printed pictures for him to put on the poster.  He was SO excited when he came home to work on it.  

Mrs.  Kerley said that he could keep his poster up next week too.  

I will be signing autographs for MOTHER OF THE YEAR starting next week.  

Lesson:  BRING HOME PAPERS THAT YOUR TEACHER GIVES YOU TO GIVE TO YOUR PARENTS OR THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!

Sophia Turns Three!

Today Sophia turns three!  I wanted her to wear this dress to her party but like I said, she was NOT having it.  This morning she let me put it on her for a hot minute and take some pics.  She was very cooperative... as you can see!  HA  She then picked out the dress she wanted (the blue/pink).

We are back in big girl underwear after taking a three month break from using the potty.  It was not worth the fight so we just let it go.  I guess she wanted it on her time and terms.  The drama is already here with this sweet girl and looks like we are all in for it!  

Her favorite thing to do is eat!  She does NOT STOP... EVER!  She loves making Seth laugh and loves dancing.  She does not want you to sing but loves for the music to be on.  She loves Doc McStuffins, Octonauts and Jake And The Neverland Pirates.  She also loves playing with her thousands of dolls, feeding them, burping them and changing their diapers.  She is just like Jonah and ALWAYS wants to be outside riding her scooter and follow Jonah and Luke down the street.  She changes clothes like the weather changes in TX.  I honestly cannot keep up with the wardrobe changes.  

Her teachers at school have told me that she is so quite at school but has finally started talking a lot more.  Funny!  She NEVER stops at home, EVER.

Aunt Virginia and Christophers House

This morning Uncle Jason and the kids brought over donuts and then we headed over to Aunt Virginia's for some real breakfast!  We had dutch babies and a sasauge casserole that was delish!  Ronnie walked the kids down to see the horses and they loved playing outside at Aunt Virginia and Christophers.   Sophia wanted nothing to do with the picture taking... I am still trying to figure out where she gets that!  

Sophia's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Sophia's 3rd birthday this weekend.  We were so excited that Ronnie, Theresa, Keaton, Virginia Kate and Causby could come help us celebrate.  Ashely made her cake again this year and it was a hit and by the end of the day there was NONE left!  

Julianne had given me a dress that would have been PERFECT for her birthday but she refused to wear it and I was not up for the fight!  It matched her invitation perfectly... it is cream, pink and brown.  I could not even bribe her to wear it.  

Keaton took Luke out front to teach him a few tricks on the skateboard.

Sophia's Valentine Party At School

Sophia had her Valentine party at school today.  She always cries the entire time I am there and will not leave my side.  The finger goes in the mouth and pretty much stays there.  

Seth 11 Months Old

The Hulk is 11 months old.  He is pulling up on everything and is even pushing off and standing for a couple of seconds.  

Super Bowl XLVII

We had a few people over for the Super Bowl and made carnitas. Chad brought his Big Green Egg down to cook some ribs.

I walked Diane out and talked for a few minutes and when I came in I found Sophia asleep on the stairs.

Flyers Last Game Of The Season

Luke had his last game of the season. They were on fire and smoked the other team! They received a trophy and cupcake at the end of the game. Now we get a three week break until next season!

Donuts With Dad

Sophia had Donuts With Dad at school this morning.  She always loves when daddy gets to take her to school!  Mother of the year dressed her in a skirt... per her request not realizing it was only going to be 55 degrees today!
