The night was FINALLY here! I have been looking forward to this night for about 6 months! I never thought it would get here and here it is... This was going to be a night to remember... or maybe one I need to erase from my memory and say some Hail Mary's for what I had to witness tonight! Hey, I warned you, it's up to you if you want to stop reading now or continue. ;)
Nori invited me to the concert and there were going to be 22 girls going. Mindy, the girl getting this together got a suite at AAC and organized everything. I just had to pay the money, show up and enjoy the show. I only knew Nori and had met 3 of the other girls one other time. Nori had met Mindy about 8 years ago, they are more acquaintances then friends (this info is important). She was a little fluffy and working on getting healthy and fit. She now looks amazing and flaunts it cause she can.
Nori had gone to get her haircut and Brandy (hair dresser) asked her how well she knew Mindy. Nori told her not well, Brandy told Nori she likes to party and left it at that... again, this info is important.
So, Saturday Nori and I met Mindy to pick up the tickets for our group. As we got the tickets Mindy said, "I can't wait for tonight, I got a driver... No judging tonight, I didn't invite guys because I'm going to get sexual"!
I am sure the look on my face was priceless. As Nori and I walked out I asked her what does that even mean and WHO SAYS THAT? We laughed it off. Nori also warned us that Mindy likes to do hand stands... a lot (again, important info for later).
I volunteered to drive the suburban and be the designated driver. Seven of us met over at Nori's and drove down. On the way downtown I told Nori she should tell the other girls what was said to give them a heads up.
Nori told them and of course we all laughed and everyone put their two cents in as to what it could possibly mean. We are cruising along and Nori gets a text asking her to check the number of tickets she has because they are short one. They cannot find it anywhere. One girl responds saying that she cannot go because her son is sick so Mindy sends her driver clear across town to pick it up for her.
We arrive at AAC after the tollway was down to one lane from Alpha to Forrest. We get up to the suite and there were 4 other girls there, we all introduce ourselves and grab some food and drinks and soon find our seats. The way the suite is set up there are four rows, two seats, the stairs down and then four more seats across. I picked a great spot on the corner by the stairs in case I needed to get up for anything... or so I thought.
So, that first group of girls I mentioned basically disappeared about 5 minutes after we got there... not to be seen again. hmmmmmm
Little by little groups of girls start showing up, we all introduce ourselves and that is that. The opening act is playing, we watch and talk and now they are introducing P!NK! WOOOHOOOOOOOO
She comes out and starts singing and Mindy (the one who warned us...) grabs a hold of the glass in front of her (3 inches from me) and starts dancing... no biggie...
UNTIL...
She starts dropping it like its hot, her arms are flying every which way, almost punched me in MY FACE multiple times and she is getting DOWN FOLKS! Legs are spread on her way down as she is dropping it like its hot and hips thrusting in ways I did not know they could move. Saw her panties... at least she was festive and wore pink. Another girl joins in and they are bumping and grinding touching each other how FRIENDS SHOULD NOT TOUCH EACH OTHER or at least my friends better NEVER touch me like that or we will have some serious problems! GOT IT!
The song could not be over fast enough, surely she will simmer down. WHY am I only watching her you ask? Simple... the stage is to the far left of the AAC and I am dead center and the show and two big screens are to the left, that was the only way I could sneak a peak at P!nk or the big screens catching a glimpse between dodging the arm and knees about to hit me.
The song was over... thank the Lord. Next song starts and FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, I did not know it is time for the next girl to take center stage. She comes down doing basically the same thing, leopard pants, short shirt, spike heels and bleached blond hair down to her butt. I am obviously with the wrong crowd here. I am now basically sitting on Nori's lap trying to sneak a peak of the concert but obviously could not. I know... your right, I was sitting right next to the stairs, I could have just gotten up, simple right?
WRONG! I tried, there were now FOUR girls thrusting, bumping and grinding ON EACH OTHER and I was blocked in. I had to put my game face on and go with it. So I joined in.
Pick up your jaws people I am kidding :) So the concert continued and I sat in my seat like a good little girl praying for these girls as they did what they did. Wait! did I say girls? Silly me, I meant LADIES, GROWN A$$ WOMEN. Yes, they were WOMEN, or at least the one in leopard pants and bleached blond hair down to her butt was. How do I know for sure? The POLIO Vaccine scar on her arm, you know the one that is the big circle scar. Yep, my mother has one and they stopped doing them on the arm years ago folks! I must admit if I looked as good as she did I might flaunt it too. These girls spend HOURS in the gym and it shows.
Some of the girls are taking pictures (obviously so they can remember what happened that night or who was there). One girl in our group was taking a picture, placed her hand on Mindy and said, "oh, I'm sorry, excuse me". Mindy's response, "oh, its ok, you can touch me anywhere you want to tonight". WTH! She is married with children. EEEEKKKKKKKK
So the concert continues and it was awesome. P!NK really knows how to put on a show. She was hanging and swinging in the air on cables from one end of the arena to the next. She was RIGHT in front of us about 20 feet away. It was awesome. I just do not get how you can dance and sing while running around and while wearing 4 inch heals.
30 minutes into the concert Nori tells me that the girl behind us is passed out. WHAT? I had to turn around and see for myself. She was sitting up with her phone in her hands like she was texting only her eyes were closed. I am assuming she blinked a little long. She slowly starts to lean forward, I could watch no longer. I had to turn back around.
UNTIL...
We hear a noise. Everyone knows this noise and you better believe when I hear this noise I am OUT OF THERE! Next thing I know Nori is crawling over me yelling at me to move, move! I continue to hear it, I slowly turn around and that little blond passed out while texting is awake and VOMITING everywhere! The smell hits me and I jump up and run out of the suite. I am done, I cannot do this anymore, I do not care that I spent $200 on a ticket, I am D O N E! This is no way to behave in public people. You are women and have children! GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!
I meet Nori out in the hall and she said that if she stayed she was going to start vomiting because of the smell. Next thing you know Mindy is running out of the suite. She lays her stuff down and says, "I have GOT to do a hand stand, I cannot even think of this anymore". So, Mindy (who is wearing a very short black dress with knee boots proceeds to do a hand stand, she is either drunk or on something and continues to do them she is now handing me her phone telling me to take a picture of her doing this. So yes, I did take her picture in disbelief. Now, blondie in the leopard pants comes out and joins in, along with a third girl.
I CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP PEOPLE!

The concert is now over, I missed the last song thanks to blonde vomiting her guts up. Everyone slowly leaves and our crew that rode together sticks around trying to figure out what the heck just happened. I was going to have to tell Justin how I went to a concert and ended up pregnant and Alicia was trying to figure out how she was going to tell her husband how she got that STD on her cheek! One of the girls with us tells us that when Mindy first got to the suite she said, "I am so messed up right now it is euphoric". HUH? That to me sounds like she took something... it was not alcohol.
We all start walking to the car and on the way home cannot stop talking about what we witnessed. We all decided that everyone would say a prayer for those women at church in the morning. Here is the sober in control crowd! Thanks for the memories ladies!
