Morton Madness

Brian and Daph came in for Thanksgiving so we got The Mean Girls and their families together for dinner at Hooters.  There ended up being 46 of us... Only 17 were adults! We had an entire section and only two servers.  They were not very bright as they took every one's order at once.  The service was horrible but we all had a great time! Uncle Ronnie finally won Seth over! The Caravellas and The Mortons We thought this would be a nightmare... Robbie told all the kids to meet at the owl and they all ran out there and we snapped a kid picture.  It took about 5 minutes... I could not believe it! 

The Katy Morton's and The Prose came in town for Thanksgiving.  We did Thanksgiving at our house this year with The Sherpys and The Morton's.  We missed Hunter, Kelly and her Munchiladas, Sam, Amy and Jason. Ronnie and Theresa stayed with us.  Justin, Ronnie and the big kids went hunting Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday morning.  They kept leaving earlier and earlier because someone was beating them out there!  They were leaving by 3:15-3:30 in the morning.   We made the Turkey, ham, broccoli rice, hash brown tators, crack bread and the chili grape jelly meatballs, everyone else brought the other sides. We had a crowd, Mom and dad, The Sherpy's, Prose, Cameron's, Katy Morton's and Nina. Ron got to come after work for a while.   Friday everyone came back over along with Grannie and Aunt Jo. The kids were so excited to finally meet their new cousin Gavin.  They had fun playing with Sawyer, Marinn and Harper too.  So glad we could visit with Aunt Karen before she headed back to Carthage.  Can't wait to play again at Thanksgiving. Courtney, Miesha, Amy and I had a great night of laughs as usual!  Love these girls.  We went to Mexican Sugar and the food was great.

The Hulk got a little upset when he first saw mom and Mimi in his room for his feast.  A plate of food made it all better!

Sophia had her feast at school today.  When she saw Justin and I she got so excited, then started crying.  She calmed down after about 15 minutes.

Meemaw and Pops took Sophia and Seth to the Zoo.  I was glad they let me tag along ;) Seth and Sophia had so much fun!  Seth walked 95% of the time.

Gavin Bane Cameron 7lbs 8oz 20 inches November 18th I went to meet sweet Gavin today.  I only got to see him for about 5 minutes.  They told Julie that if he did not stay under the lights he would not be going home with her tomorrow.  He looks just like Sawyer and a little bit like Harper. As we were sitting talking, all the power went off, generator came on and an announcement of a code PINK!  They had just taken Gavin out of the room minutes before that.  Ranick jumped up to go peek in the nursery and as he walked out the phone rang and it was the nurse telling Julie that they had Gavin and he was safe.  This was just a drill to keep the nurses alert... we were assuming because of the power outage. We cannot wait to hug on that sweet boy again.  

The night was FINALLY here!  I have been looking forward to this night for about 6 months!  I never thought it would get here and here it is...  This was going to be a night to remember... or maybe one I need to erase from my memory and say some Hail Mary's for what I had to witness tonight!  Hey, I warned you, it's up to you if you want to stop reading now or continue.  ;) Nori invited me to the concert and there were going to be 22 girls going. Mindy, the girl getting this together got a suite at AAC and organized everything. I just had to pay the money, show up and enjoy the show.  I only knew Nori and had met 3 of the other girls one other time.  Nori had met Mindy about 8 years ago, they are more acquaintances then friends (this info is important).  She was a little fluffy and working on getting healthy and fit.  She now looks amazing and flaunts it cause she can.   Nori had gone to get her haircut and Brandy (hair dresser) ...
