Morton Madness

Scott and Haley were having a New Years party but had to cancel last minute because Scott ended up picking up a shift at the hospital... so, it moved to our house.  Seth asked to go to bed at 9:30, Sophia fell asleep at 10:15, Luke made it to 1:30.  The last handful of people left at 1:45 so I cleaned the kitchen and got ready for bed.  Jonah was still up at 2:00 and I made him go to bed!   Fagan was at work but we got him on FaceTime !   The kids played Bean Boozled and Seth inhaled the meatballs.   Had to get Fagan back on the phone to wish him a happy new year!

Sophia, Seth and Causby were playing Bean Boozeled and they were cracking up.   Jusitn was smoking salmon for all of us for dinner... thank goodnes for the heater.   Face timing at an inappropriate time... Kelly came over so we could have some sister time.  We went to TJ Maxx, Sample House and had some lunch at Glorias.   The omlet Ronbo made me!  DELISH

Justin took Jonah and Luke to see the Star Wars movie... the enjoyed it but Luke said it wasn't as good as the old ones.

Ron and Theresa came up for their annual duck hunting trip.  Not much luck... 4 trips out and only 3 ducks.  The ponds were all full so they were up to their chest in water.  The second morning they headed out it was snowing, Jonah said he was freezing! Jonah was freezing from standing in the water so he was taking a break Keaton and Jonah Keaton

This weather has been CRAZY!  Christmas day we were in shorts and today it was 82.  Now the storms are here.  

We headed to mom and dads for lunch this afternoon.  Grannie came to eat with us and celbrate Christmas with us.  

The bigs were the first ones up but did not come downstairs right away, they only peeked downstairs.  Sophia came down about 7:15 and I went to wake Seth at 7:30 but he was just getting out of bed.  They were so excited to come and see what Santa had left them.  Meemaw and Pops came over after breakfast but somehow I did not get a picture of them.  Our camera is not working and we either need to get it fixed or get a new one.  Meemaw and Pops headed to Jasons and then we headed to mom and dads around 2:00, I left my house like a bomb went off and was too tired to care!   The boys got an Xbox One and their own headsets. The year the stockings were hung... empty, until 6:47 Mrs. Clause woke in a panic because this is ALL Sophia cares about!   I feel like an adult now... my first pair of sunglasses over $15! Got Justin a game of corn hole!

Scott and Haley brought over our Christmas present!  We aren't really sure if it's for us or him!  Thanks for the heater Fagan!

We headed over to Mimi and Papa's for Christmas Eve.  After dinner we headed out to walk the neighborhood to look at lights.   Of course Claire did not want in her stroller and she wanted to walk or be held by her aunt Alison! The kids had fun having a photo with Rudolph We did not get home until after 11:00 tonight, Seth and Sophia fell asleep on the way home but Jonah and Luke were up unitl 1:00, not sure if they were trying to catch Santa or not!  Let's just say it was a LONG night!  

It is past time for Tingy (aka Lukes blanket) to go.  Momma could not be happier!  Thank you Nori for replacing Tingy with a new blanket!

Noah and Claire came to hang out and play today.  It was a gorgeous day to play outside.  The boys had a blast in the Mustang and Seth was teaching Noah how to do a 3 point turn!  We decorated some gingerbread men cookies too.
