Lunch With Sophia

Justin, Seth and I surprised Sophia for lunch.  When she saw us she ran and hugged Justin then teared up.  Not sure why but got over it and went to get her lunch.  She was SO excited to buy her lunch for the first time.

Garth Brooks

Scott and Haley got a suite for the Garth Brooks concert and invited us to go.  I must admit I felt a little strange putting on shorts and boots at my age!  There were 18 of us so Scott got a party bus and I think the ride home from the concert was just as fun as the concert... what happens on the party bus STAYS on the party bus!

I must say, I was a little worried about our seats because of the screen that was up when we first got there.  Luckily it came down and we could see really good.

Oh yes, Scott forgot his ticket and could not get back in until I tossed one over the balcony!

Time to head home!

The concert was AMAZING! Garth was already hoarse but sounded great thanks to technology!  He put on one heck of a show.  It was nice to see Trisha too.

Camp JOLT

Luke is all packed and read for 5th grade camp at Camp JOLT!  He was pretty excited to go this year, when he was in 4th grade he told me he was not going.  Justin dropped him off at school Wednesday morning and they would return on Friday at 2:00.    Have FUN Luke!

While we were packing I showed Luke a disposable camera.  When I held it up he said, "what's that"?  Where have I gone wrong?  I told him what it was and how to use it, had to tell him he had to look in the view finder when he took the pic and that once he took it there was not deleting it... He was a little confused!  lol

The buses came rolling in at 2:00 and we met the kids at the school to greet them off the bus.  I must say, I was pretty impressed at how clean Luke looked.  He is the child you have to tell multiple times to get in the shower, use shampoo and use soap :(  he told me that the first day he took THREE showers because he felt so nasty!  I do not even know who this kid is.  ha!
