Let me set the scene... we are in the last week of school, Justin is out of town and it is a little after TEN PM and I am in bed watching TV about to go to sleep. Jonah walks in and says, "mom, I forgot I need to take a couple of things to school tomorrow and handed me a list. Should not be hard... right? WRONG!
The list is below:
- Pre cut 1/2 inch diameter foam pipe 30 cm long
- Duct tape 3 12cm strips of duct tape
- string 90cm
- 3 rubber bands
- small binder clip
- index card 7.5 cm by 12.5cm
BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS THIS STUFF ON HAND!!! I start digging through drawers and getting stuff that I MIGHT have laying around, string, index card (which I made Jonah measure and cut because we did not have one), rubber bands and small binder clip. I figure if he had half the supplies it was better than none.
because I am an AWESOME MOM (maybe when he reads this when he is older he will see just how awesome I really am) he should be grateful because I am pretty sure this was a 45 minute search the house project.
Haley just happened to text me while I was running around frantic and so I asked if she had foam pipe... THEY DID! It was the wrong size but I did not even care. I sent Jonah over to get it along with rubber bands.
I seriously wanted put him through a wall. I had asked AT LEAST three times earlier that day if he had any homework!!!
