New Years Eve

We did absolutely NOTHING for New Years Eve this year and it was the best decision we have ever made!  Justin and Jonah went hunting this morning at 4:00 so they were exhausted and we were in bed by 9:45.  I watched the ball drop in New York and then turned off the TV and went to bed!  Happy New Year!

Nori's Birthday At Mesera

GNO for Nori's birthday.  We headed out to Legacy West and ate dinner at Mesera.  Happy Birthday Nori!

Cousin Fun

Cousins came over to hang out for the afternoon.  We got laser tag guns for Christmas and I gave the Dallas Mortons some too so they brought theirs over so we could have a huge laser tag game.  All the kids got on teams and played each other.  Eight kids, eight guns equals A LOT of noise!

Later I loaded up the eight kids and headed to Tupy's to meet Justin, Jason, Michelle, Ron and Nina.  We all piled in like a clown car.

We tried to recreate the pic from last year but it did not really turn out.  

TCU vs. Stanford

We headed over to the Yarbroughs for the football bowl game.  The kids talking and having fun???  Or all on their electronic device!  Never got a pic of the littles but Seth and Aubry had a blast together throwing the ball back and forth for what seemed to be hours.  They laughed and laughed and laughed.  Aubrey even gave Seth a hug when we left.  

Mean Girls Lunch

Had lunch at Masero with The Mean Girls.  So great to catch up with them.  

Duck Hunt

Jonah, Luke, Justin and Darrin headed out to hunt and they were home early because they did not see much.  Jonah was the only one who got a bird this round!

Christmas Day

Sophia was the first one up at 7:00 and came down.  I was in the shower so after I got up we woke the boys up to come see what Santa brought.  After we got done opening gifts Meemaw and Pops stopped by on their way to Jason's.  

Jonah got a Go Pro, Luke a Surface Pro, Seth got his drone, an Amazon Fire and Paw Patrol stuff, Sophia got American Girl doll stuff and an Amazon Fire.  

 How many can we fit on the loveseat?  Four!  Look close and you can see Remington

We headed over to The Fagans to give them their gifts, they were still in their PJ's too.  

The littles like their bed tents!

We headed over to mom and dads around 3:00 for lunch.  Papa had fun playing on Luke's new Surface Pro.

We opened gifts... again and everyone was so excited.  Seth got a Teepee and RC car from Mimi and Papa, Sophia got a Jeep for her American Girl Dolls and some pink Converse, Jonah and Luke got some cash and it fit perfect!

I got Grannie some new shoes.

The girls made a birthday cake for Jesus and we sang Happy Birthday.  

The laser tag guns were a hit!  

The two littles were exhausted and fell right to sleep.

Christmas Eve

 We headed over to mom and dads for Christmas Eve, ate dinner and Mimi and Papa let the kids open one gift each.  All the littles got watch walkie talkies, Jonah got a duck call and Luke a new pocket knife.  After opening gifts we went and walked Mimi and Papa's neighborhood to look at all the lights.  Mom called that morning and told us to bright Remington with us so we would not have to worry about going home to let him out.  We did and he did really well once he smelled the entire house.

We got home and got the kiddos in bed so Santa would come.  I went to tell the bigs goodnight and saw that their window blinds were open and they were on the phone... they were talking to Jackson across the street and he had his blinds open and they were doing "morse code".  I love that they can do that!
