This right here folks... it is BIG time! This is Sophia sleeping in her room in her bed ALONE! Before dinner she asked if she could move back to her room tonight. As I felt my heart sink I told her that she could! THIS IS HUGE!!! Sophia for a couple of years was coming down to our room EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. After months of her waking me up we finally put a blow up mattress down so she could just come get out it without waking me up. I of course would wake up every time she came in the room but...
This past summer I put the mattress away and told her NO MORE! She is wanting to got to sleep away camp this summer and I told her that she is going to have to stop coming to wake me up or she was not going to be able to go.
She decided to ask Seth if she could sleep in his room in his spare bed. That was in June... she had spent EVERY night in there except TWO and that is only because Seth would get mad at her and tell her enough was enough and she could not sleep in there that night.
Well, now she has been in her room for 5 nights and not come down ONE TIME! It does break my heart because Seth was upset the first night and said to me, "I know she is lying, she wants to sleep in here". Now every night he tells me he does not want to be alone. My heart is happy and sad at the same time. So proud my baby girl is growing up and sad that my sweet boy is so sad.
