Seth Skating Into First Grade

Image
We got a group of Seth's friends together to go skating and it was so good to see them.  They were all in the 2 year old class together at Stonebriar and now all four go to different schools.  We have all stayed in touch so the kids can see each other.  After skating we headed to Chili's for some lunch.

End Of Summer Bash

Image
I promised the littles that we could tie dye shirts before summer was over.  We went and bought the tie dye and of course they both picked different color kits and each kit made 9 shirts.  I was not going to mix all the dye for 2 shirts so I decided to have a swimming and tie dye end of summer bash!   Sophia's friends came over at 10:00 to swim and tie dye.  The girls and Brandon had a great time.  There was a little drama but I shut it down quickly... one girl was annoyed at 4 of the other girls because they were doing "stunts" off the rock, toe touch jumps, flips and twist jumps.  She kept asking why they had to keep doing it, I guess she was mad because she could not do them.  Another one was mad at Sophia because she did not buy her the swimsuit like the other girls had for her birthday.  UGH, the drama starts so young! We were not going to wait 24 hours for the shirts to set... I needed a picture of all the kids in their shirts be...

Seth Sport Camp

Image
Seth has been SO excited for Sports Camp.  I made him and Noah a shirt and water jug and they were all smiles when we got to drop off.  The camp was from 9:00-2:30 M-F and I was worried Seth would not want to get up since he sleeps until 9:00-9:30.  He popped right up and was smiling and could not wait to go.   He would come home every day and say how he wants to sign up every summer.  I am so glad he had so much fun!

Lunch At Our House

Image
We decided to have everyone over at our house while Stef was still in town.  Justin smoked a brisket so we swam and at dinner.  Aunt Karen, Uncle Don and Aunt Jo were here too.

Cousin Skate

Image
Thought it would be fun to go skating while cousins were in town.  So glad that Julie's kiddos could join us.  We went to Thunderbird this time and we all decided that we like Interskate better.   Jonah ended up with a huge quarter size blister on the side of his foot.  I made all the littles shirts and they were excited to wear them.  So glad that Mimi and Papa could come up and watch the kids skate. After skating we headed over to mom and dads house for dinner and homemade ice cream and a little swimming.

Seth Lost His FIRST TOOTH

Image
Seth has had a loose tooth and finally asked me to pull it for him!  He was a little shocked when I told him it was already out.  He has another loose one but says it is not ready to come out.  We will have braces in the future with this one!

San Antonio Crew In Town

Image
Stef, Tommy, Zane, Chloe and Jeremiah came in town so we headed to moms to see them.  It was HOTTER THAN HELL this week they were here.  Mom, Stef, Chloe and I went to see Grannie in rehab and she was happy to see us.  I am not really sure she knew who we were because she kept calling us Katherine and Carolyn.

OUCH!

Image
I called Seth down to come take a bath.  I was in the kitchen and heard him yell OK and started to run out of his room and then I heard something hit and immediately a blood curdling scream... I ran upstairs and before I got half way up and said, "there is already a bump".  I had him take his hand down and this is what I saw!  I was just happy that it came out.  We put ice on it and within a few minutes it was down.  Poor kid!

Swimming

These crazies saw me sneaking a pic so they posed!

No Electronics

I told the kids NO MORE ELECTRONICS... and they survived!  They played ERS and the littles made some slime.

Roller Skating Into 3rd Grade

Image
We were heading to Interskate to do a little roller skating so we invited some of Sophia's friends!  Jonah and Luke brought Dillon and Chase with them.  They all had a blast... We skated for 3 hours and I could hardly get Seth off the rink.  I love that this group of kids started kinder together and have stayed friends.   Brandon, Sophia, Elle, Brielle, Maggie, Elyse and Madelyn Sophia went with Madelyn after skating to eat lunch and then they ended up here for a sleepover.  We showed Madelyn our favorite pool snack Nilla Waffers with peanut butter.
