Aladdin With The Gang

These kiddos are having a great start to their summer!  School has been out for one day and after the swim party yesterday we are at a movie!  After the movie Sophia went home with Elyse and did her back handspring for the first time ALL BY HERSELF!  She was SO excited she could not stop doing it.  I was so glad I was there to see it!

Last Day Of School

Sent the kids off to their last day of first and third grade!  Sophia asked me the night before to make her a shirt so I made it happen, then of course Seth wanted one!  

I did not get a picture of the kids with their teachers at their party so I emailed Nicole and Kristin and asked them to take a pic and send it to me! 

The kids were SO excited because their swim party was today!  Stacey brought Chick Fil A nuggets and everyone else brought food and snacks too.  

Harper, Claire, Elyse, Molly, Sophia, Madelyn, Brandon, Carlisle, Maggie, Rex, Brielle, Tate, Ben, Noah, Seth, Bennett, Belle and Nicolette.  Hudson in the pool :)

I had the windows cleaned that morning and the Polaris decided to spray all over them before the cleaner even left!  Fagan to the rescue!  HA.  Jonah had gone to Kroger with Chase and Robert and called me and asked me to open the gate because they had a surprise for the kids... water balloons!  They had filled them up at Chases and were bringing them over.  The kids were so excited.  

School Parties

This was by far the craziest end of year party ever!  The party was on the second to last day of school at 1:15, it was raining so the parties were moved inside.  Jonah skipped school so he went with me to the parties.  We went to Seth's room first and they were having snack so Jonah went up to Sophia's room.  After a while I went up to see what Sophia was doing and Jonah headed back to Seth's room.  Justin had sent me a text that we were under a tornado watch so I was keeping an eye on the radar.  

Mrs. Johnson came over the speaker telling us that they are keeping an eye on the radar and are in contact with the FPD and FISD for lock down protocol.  Two min. later Mrs. Pockrus walked up and said that we are about to go on lockdown if we wanted to get out before the doors lock we needed to leave ASAP.  I grabbed Sophia trying to keep cool to not freak everyone out.   I called Jonah and told him to grab Seth and his backpack and meet me out front immediately.  Sophia and I took off downstairs and met them in the hallway and made it out of the building about 4 min. before they went on lockdown.  On our way out we saw our favorite Coach Davis!  She was so excited to see Jonah.  

Needless to say I got one picture since we booked it out of there.  

1st Grade Camp

Seth had first grade camp this week at school.  When they showed up to school today the classroom had tents, sleeping bags and a canoe.  They had so much fun. 

Last Day Of School Swim Party Prep

Seth and Sophia wanted to have friends over to swim the last day of school.  Of course my wheels started turning and I found something I wanted to do for the backyard.  I went to the Dollar Store and bought pool noodles and some floral wire.  I was planning on spelling the word SUMMER with the noodles.  Stacey came over and we attempted and failed so I got dad on it.  He started brainstorming and after a few ideas later and some trial and error he figured it out! 

I ordered wire off of Amazon and 2 days later it was here so dad got to work.  It was a lot harder than it looked!   Once dad figured out what he was going to use it took right at 2 hours for him to spell the word SUMMER. 

We then decided to rip out the huge bushes that were too big and got mom on the job of plant shopping.  Came home and the boys dug out the bushes and mom and I laid out all the new plants where we wanted them.  Mom planted the pots and Justin and Seth planted the flowers and then mulched. 

Luke's Birthday

Happy 14th Birthday Lukie!  I cannot believe you are 14 already.  Dad and I are so proud of the young man you are becoming.  You keep us on our toes and always have us laughing.  You may drive us crazy but your happy go lucky attitude is contagious!  We love you kid and cannot wait to see what your future holds.  

Field Day

Seth and Sophia had field day today.  It was nice because there was a cloud cover.  They kids had fun.

Jonah's Driving Permit

Jonah and I headed out to Sherman this morning to get his driving permit.   We met Shelly and Chase there so they got their permits together.  I cannot believe it is already here!

Seth Pulling Weeds

Seth loves to pick weeds!  When I picked him up from school first thing he said when he got in the car was that he could not wait to get home and do some yard work!
