Heely Time

Seth got some Heely's for Christmas, tried them a couple of times and gave up.  Fast forward 6 months to Sky Ranch Launch Camp... the theme song this year was Justin Timberlake's I've Got A Feelin' song changed to Wheelin.  The main thing was Heely's so I decided to ask Seth if he wanted to give them another try.  He did!  We watched a couple of YouTube videos and off he went and not he does it everywhere!

Roller Skating

The kids wanted to roller blade so we headed to Interskate.  Uncle Nic brought Noah and Claire too.

Lola Came To Stay

Lola came to stay with us for 9 days while Kelly and the kids were in Florida.  I think she wore Remington out.  They never stopped and had so much fun together.  

Cousins

SKY RANCH

We loaded up to head to Van to drop Sophia and Luke off at camp for the week.  Luke was complaining the entire time and told us WHEN WE GOT THERE that he did not want to be there.  We kept asking why and told him it was too late, he was there.  He then told us he did not want to be there since he had just come home from Mexico a few days before with Landon.  FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS KID!  Of course Luke had Montezumas Revenge so we were giving him Pepto on the way down.  

The entire ride there Sophia was a wreck, she had NO idea why she was so nervous since she had been the summer before.  She kept saying she was going to barf but never did... Well, she worked herself up so much that as we were PULLING INTO THE GATE at Sky Ranch, SHE BARFED!  She had not said a word the entire trip and as soon as she barfed she would NOT stop talking and was talking 100 mph.   Wondering if Kate was already here if she will get top or bottom bunk, what her cabin mates will be like, will she have anyone from last year in her cabin.  The girl puked and rallied!  

After getting the car unloaded and the trunks loaded on the trailer we were off to drop Sophia off first.  She was so excited to find her bunk and start getting it ready.  Luke was not as excited.  Mind you, he had been telling me for months that he still wanted to go.  When you get there they do a lice check and you have to fill out a form saying that your child has not thrown up or had diarrhea in the last 48 hours... opps.  At least we knew it was Montezumas Revenge and nerves.  As we got in the car to head home it got REALLY dark and started pouring rain.  Have fun kiddos!

Seth was going to Launch Camp and was beyond excited.  He was in Dub Bros Tent.  Mid week he asked me if I would make him a shirt with his cabin name!   On Friday at pick up for Seth he went up in front of that stage and did his chant and was smiling ear to ear.  He could not wait to sign up for sleep away camp next summer!  

We went to pick the kids up and I could not wait to see them and hug their necks!  They were both exhausted and had an awesome time.  Luke even said that he was glad he went, that he was just tired and had not been home in a while and wanted his own bed.  

The Littles 7 and 9 Year Well Visits

These crazies had their well visit with Dr. Kaplan today and Sophia was scared she was going to get a shot, she did not.  When Dr. Kaplan walked in the kids were like this and he thought it was so funny, the kids started cracking up.  Sophia was SO EXCITED because she is FINALLY told that she did not have to use a booster seat anymore!
