Florida

We were close to the beach and had a great little house.  We had fun at the beach and then would come home and swim.  Jonah, Luke and Justin went on a fishing trip and what a crazy trip that was.  They saw a man swimming in the middle of the ocean so stopped to help him out.  He jumped on the boat and had one leg.  The fishing was terrible and Luke only got one fish.  They did bring it home and we cooked it up, it was really good.  We woke up one morning and the Suburban had a flat tire, Justin and Jonah changed it and then went to get it patched.  Justin dropped the gypsy rack on his head when he was taking it out of the hitch and gashed his head pretty good.  

I made these frames with the shells we collected over the week.  I am going to give one to Meemaw and Pops for Christmas.

Florida Day One

We were not sure if we were going to be able to sneak away this summer but we made it happen.  We booked a house in Panama City Beach, FL a week before we left.  Jonah had his permit so we let him drive, after about 30 min. he asked if we could switch drivers... WHAT, we just stopped 30 min. ago so you could drive.  I made him drive for another 30 min. before we stopped.  I was in the backseat and was a nervous wreck with him driving that fast on the interstate.   I was more worried about all the other people on the road and him not knowing exactly how to react if something were to happen.  We stopped in Alabama at Dreamland BBQ for dinner.  

Meemaw and Pops Came To Visit

Meemaw and Pops came over after Seths game and we were going to go out to dinner for Fathers Day.  This was right before we left.  

Sports Camp

Sports camp is FINALLY here!  Seth has been waiting all year for this!  He asked if I would make a shirt for them.  I could not resist.  After I made the shirt the night before I remember Claire was going this year too.  They had a blast and are looking forward to next year!

Took the kids to The Snow Cone Lady.  They were so excited because they have never been.  I love the group picture of the boys, they are right next to each other with arms around each other.  I hope they remain thick as thieves!

Fun Week

While Seth was at sports camp this week Sophia stayed busy.  Monday she went to Maggies, Tuesday Molly came over and Wednesday the girls came here to swim.  Sport camp was over Thursday so Tate came to play on Friday.  Momma is beat!

The Royals Tournament Nate

Got a message from Tracy that they were Dallas bound for Nate's baseball tournament.  I was so excited that we got to make it out to watch him play!  

Roller Skating

Jon took Seth to roller skate with Kennedy and Carlisle and then out for ice cream.  Seth had a fun time while Sophia and I went to the mall to spend her gift cards.  She has been asking for nails for a while, she bought some at Justice and they did NOT last 20 minutes :)  

Another Creek Find

The boys headed to the creek to finish digging up what they started with Zane and Sawyer.  After a few hours Jonah came home asking for Justin and Kev to go and help them, they need some muscle to help pull this out.  The thought it was some sort of machine... I drove Jonah back down to the creek and found Tyler like this!  They kept digging by themselves and came home with this!  It was a newspaper stand, they broke out the glass and got this off of it.
