Cowboy Game

Justin and Jonah went to Jerry World for the Cowboy game.  

Seth FINALLY Pulled His Tooth

Seth finally did it!  He would NOT keep his hands out of his mouth. 

Flu Shots

These crazies worked themselves up all over a flu shot!  I brought Jonah and Luke before school and checked them out early because I knew they would not want to go back to school.  I was glad Seth could get his shot because I had him in for a sick visit.  His throat hurt and was coughing really bad.  Strep came back negative and it was viral, croup.  

Sophia was a hot mess and cried and freaked herself out.  After a few deep breaths she relaxed. 

Jonah's Cheer Squad

Jonah's game was moved up to 5:30 so Pops got to come watch!  We lost but it was a good game.  

Seth had a busy weekend with birthday parties.  He started off at Nico's at Pinstack and then we headed to Noah's at Main Event. 

Jonah and Luke's New Room

It was time to get rid of the twin over full bunk beds that Jonah and Luke were in.  Poor Luke would crawl up the stairs and fold himself up to get in bed.  Mom and Dad came over to help paint.  We painted the walls and the crown molding black and the walls a light grey color.  Papa went and bought some old pickets to make the headboards and window valance.  They turned out awesome!  The boys are excited and Luke has a big bed now!

The Bigs Get New Beds

 It was time!  The bigs have had a bunk bed, twin over full and poor Luke would crawl up there and fold himself in half to sleep.  We took the bunk bed apart and got it downstairs so the boys could start putting their new platform beds together.  Luke was excited to get a full size bed.  As they were putting their beds together they were talking about what would be cool so I listened and made it happen!  I called Papa!  Told him the boys wanted old fence pickets for a headboard!  He and Mimi went driving around looking for anyone getting a new fence and then Papa found a place in Wylie that sells old fence pieces.  He went out and found the perfect pieces!

Justin Surgery

Justin went in for surgery on this Friday the 13th :)  He had Septoplasty, Turbinate resection and nasal vestibula.  We are not real sure how he was even breathing through his left side.  Justin and I had to be at the surgery center at 7:00 so Jonah got Seth and Sophia to the bus stop for school.  The surgery was scheduled for 8:00 and lasted a couple of hours.  I finally got to go back as he was awake.  He looked like he was hurting but that did not stop him from thinking he was going to start working when he got home.  I think the nurse thought he was crazy!  I told her that I would not allow him to work seeing as how he was coming off of anesthesia and was on narcotics :)  He also told the nurse he would be going into work the next day... she said he needed to take that up with his doctor.

We finally got to come home around 1:00 and I got him in bed and he asked for his laptop.  I told him I was going to pick up his prescriptions and not to work until I got home... I got home 20 min. later and he was out like a light!  He slept for 3 hours.  

Needless to say, he stayed home all week because if he got up his nose would start bleeding.  We had to flush it 2-3 times a day with a solution and in between that he had to snort saline to keep it from drying out and Afrin to stop the bleeding.  

We are hoping that this fixes his snoring problem but it has not so far... I am just thankful that he can breath better.  

Brooke Turns ONE

Today we celebrated Brooke's first birthday!  Carlie had the house so cute with a Peter Rabbit Theme.  

Jonah Turns 16

The boy who made me a momma turns SIXTEEN today!  Caroline and Bella came and kidnapped him and took him to get ice cream!  He did not want to go out to dinner but he wanted to pick up Wing Stop and bring it home.  So proud of the young man he is becoming.  We love you Jonah Bear!

Dutch Lions First Game Of The Season

The Dutch Lions had their first game today.  They are playing at The PIT in Plano.  It was so hot and we did not have any subs.  

Justin Goes To Lubbock

Justin, Yar and Kev headed to Lubbock this morning for their annual trip.  Justin got to see some guys he had not seen since we graduated.  We played UTEP and won.  

 Justin was sending selfies so the kids and I joined in.
