Thanksgiving, Kansas City Bound

We loaded up and headed to Kansas City for Thanksgiving.  Poor Sophia worked herself up and didn't talk the first 2.5 hours of the trip.  We gave her a Dramamine before we left but I guess it took a while to kick in.  She never got sick so that is a HUGE plus!  Jonah and Luke rode with Mimi and Papa so we had a little extra room in the Suburban.  We stopped for lunch at out usual Dairy Queen and took our annual pic... this is our third year to do it.  

We rolled in about 4:00 and of course they were already trying to get dinner on the table :)  Ralphie had picked up some fried chicken that was so yummy.  The Mortons and Sherpy's all slept down in the basement except for Jonah, he was upstairs in a room.  We had 3 blow ups and 2 queen beds down there.  Alaina even spent the night with us one night on the couch down there.  

Thursday we headed over to Bob and Kathleen's for Thanksgiving.  We had an amazing spread of food and desserts and it was so great seeing everyone!  Friday Christy, Mike, Taylor, Izzy, Uncle Dave, Aunt Tree, Debbie and Randy came over to visit.

Caravellas Here!

Brian and the kids came in town for Thanksgiving so we made plans to meet up for dinner at The Truck Yard.  Mom, dad, Barbara and Ronnie came along too so it was fun to catch up.  Brian brought his girlfriend Val so it was nice to meet her.  The kids acted like they did not know each other but then warmed up.  We had a great time and the kids had so much fun playing at the Truck Yard.

Lunch with Loved Ones

Had lunch with the littles today so we could go to the book fair after.  They just love the book fair! 

Jonah's Ram And Sacagawea

Jonah and Papa worked on his ram mount and Seth and Sophia had the chance to shoot the Traveling Bow Sacagawea. This bow was purchased by someone from TX Bowhunter.com and it is a left and right handed bow.  This bow is sent around to people in TX and you get to keep it for one month.  You can use it just to shoot or you can take it on a hunt with you.  After your month is up then you send it on to someone else and then write your story about what you did with it.  Dad will get to write about his grandchildren shooting it.  So fun!

Fun Day

It was a beautiful day and we spent hours outside.  I think Seth and Noah were out playing soccer for 4 hours.  Sophia and Brielle rode scooters for that long.  Justin came out with Remington and threw his bumper.
