There is a first time for everything but never did I ever think... we would do a drive by birthday party! Today Brielle turned 10 and her party was canceled due to the pandemic of COVID 19. We decided to all get in our car and drive over to help her celebrate. We stayed in our cars and all sang happy birthday to her.

eLearning Has Begun
eLearning started today so the kids were pretty excited that they could work from home. Jonah of course was hunting so I did not get a pic :)
eLearning: Teachers send out a calendar for the week and the kids have to get their work done by the end of the week.

Justin's Truck Broken Into
Justin went out at 8:30 to move his truck around back. He called me to ask if I had been in his truck. I told him no and asked why. He told me to come out and see what he was looking at. Someone had broken in and put stuff from the console in the front seat and ripped the glovebox out. They took 100 rounds of ammo and his tire wheel lock. We called the police to report it and they did not feel they needed to come out. Scott got it on his camera but it is hard to see so they could not prove it.
A little while later I see that a few more people were posting they got broken into as well. I saw they hit the neighborhoods on either side of us too when it was daylight. One got a picture of the guy on his camera and they police came out and lifted a print. It was the same car that hit ours and they lifted the same print off another car too.
The detective called Justin a few days later and they had picked the boy up on another charge... breaking into a game wardens car and stealing a gun and vest. Apparently there is a group of kids in Dallas 14-21 years old who are going around Frisco, Prosper and Celina breaking in looking for guns. The kid who got in ours was 17 years old.
Jonah And Papa's Hunt
School was closed and they were starting eLearning so we let Jonah go hunting with Papa. Jonah took a laptop so he could do some of his work so he would not get too far behind ;) He left tonight to spend the night at Papa's so they could just get up and go early in the morning. Papa got a ram on the first day and on the second day Jonah text me early to tell me that he just shot an axis deer and were heading in the woods to look for it. They never found it so that was a bummer. They made memories so that is all that matters!

Spring Break. Mt. Ida, Arkansas Day Three
It was still raining but with the break we went and got a pic. The kids had more fun running around and playing outside. Remington and Winston had fun too. Remington loved jumping in the water in the stream out front and Winston even got in. Justin took Jonah and Luke to find somewhere to fish and Luke's rod snapped in half. Justin slipped and fell and had a hard time getting back up, wish I could have seen that. The anoraks Jonah and Luke are wearing are the ones Justin and I wore to our Seattle trip back in 1999. Justin has been trying to get me to get rid of those for 20 plus years, glad I did not :)
