Runge Parade

Matt will be leaving for his 21 day hospital stay so we decided to send him off in style!  I had people write him letters of encouragement so he could have something to read while he was in the hospital.  I think I collected almost 30 letters.   He would have no visitors due to COVID 19.  Nori got a drive by parade organized and got Matt outside and all the neighbors were out to surprise him and then the parade started.  Matt was so grateful and happy to see everyone.  #TeamRunge

Message For Gran and Aunt Jo

We wanted to send Grannie and Aunt Jo a message.  Not sure if Gran will understand it.  We have not been able to see her since the shut down due to COVID 19.  We are hoping we can go see her soon and hope she did not forget who we are.

Sky Ranch FUN And Jonah In Padre

The kids apparently did not listen to mom again...  Every year I tell them to JUMP in front of the camera if they see it :)  Momma needs to see her crazies are having fun!  We did get some great pics this year but the night event pics always get me.  I work hard on those night event costumes and want to see them.  sigh.

So glad they are having so much fun and it looks like it is pretty "normal" from the pics.

It was PICK UP DAY and we could not wait to see our crazies!  It was a little different with pick up this year due to COVID 19 Coronavirus.  We did the usual drive up and get their trunks (it was raining a little on us) we then drove up to pick the camper up and get right into the car.  I must say, I kind of liked this although I did miss the closing show.  I love seeing all the kids come in and get all pumped up.  Sophia was first and then we drove to get Seth.  They got in the car and the talking started... and did not stop.   We stopped at Whataburger on the way home for some lunch, we saw Kim and Kate there too.  We ate in the car so we could get to Plano to pick Luke up.  We were going to have to sit for about an hour but the bus was 30 min. early so that was a plus.

The talking did not stop for them until it got radio silent and Seth was OUT as we were merging on to 635.  He slept for about 9 min. and was wired after that little cat nap.  Sophia never fell asleep.  We got to Plano and waited for Luke's bus and he was telling us stories too.  They were all so happy and had a great time

Seth bought a stuffed bear, Billy for $27 dollars and we laughed about it I think trying not to cry.  lol  Sophia bought a giraffe, Melvin for $5... atta girl!  Luke was more than happy to report that he had $200 dollars in his account and so he bought a TON of candy bars and a couple of shirts.  He told me he had $40 left... that was the $40 I put in there and the $200 was a credit for camp being moved from CO to OK.

We were so glad to get them all home and now we were just waiting on Jonah to get home.  He was scheduled to arrive around 9:30.

This year I added a little extra to their 'Welcome Home' banners.  I printed the pics from each day and added it to the littles banners.  I thought they would like to see their pics from the day.  SO glad to have my crazies back home!

SKY RANCH BOUND And Fathers Day

SKY RANCH SKY RANCH SKY RANCH!

It is that time.  We were worried that camp would be canceled due to COVID 19 but they were a go!  The kids were really excited.  Seth could NOT wait.  Luke was headed to CO for Quest this year but CO is still not fully opened so they had to change to their OK location.  Luke said that he still wanted to go so we packed him up and he left Saturday from Plano.  We drove through and did a drop off.  We all got our temperature checked and then went to the bus and dropped him off and off he went.

Seth and Sophia were leaving Sunday.  We did not check in until 1:45 so we did not have to get up early.  Stacie came and helped decorate my truck and it was POURING rain when we left!  The words were disappearing before our eyes.  They were both so excited they could hardly stand it!  We were told that only one parent could drop off this year and we were not allowed in the cabin.  Well... we both went to drop off Seth first and Sophia came with us.  After his lice check he ran inside and almost did not come back out to say goodbye!  Koen was there and he could not wait for the fun to begin!

We said our goodbye and headed to Sophia's cabin.  The other girls were already there and Sophia ran in and to say hi and then came out for a quick pic and hug.  Justin and I headed home in complete silence!  We headed to mom and dads for a burger then headed home to pack Jonah for South Padre.

Jonah And Luke Well Visit/ Seth Fishing With Uncle Nic And Papa

The bigs had their well visits this morning.  Jonah weighed in at 193 and Luke 134.  Luke is one inch taller than Jonah.

Papa came and picked Seth up so they could meet Nic and the kiddos to go fishing.  They had some luck.
