Week In Florida

We had a great time in Florida!  The house was perfect and not far from the beach.  We have never seen so many people at the beach when we were there.  There was plenty of space between everyone so we were not crowded.  We both loaded up coolers with drinks and food so we would not have to go to the grocery store.  We ate all meals at the house so we did not have to go out.  One afternoon I walked by the microwave and asked why yellow smoke was coming out and Wyatt had put a mac n cheese in there with no water.  We all started laughing and had to open up the house because it stunk so bad.  

Since we were gone for 2 weeks poor Remington was confused.  He started off at home and Jenny and Tyler came and stayed a few days after that Kelly came and picked him up to take him to her house.  Mom and dad were coming back from KC so Kelly brought him home and Fagans let him out that morning and then my parents came and stayed the night with him.  

We drove straight home and Remington was so excited to finally see us.  We missed him so much, 2 weeks is a long time!

 

Florida Day 1

The boys went fishing so Cole, Sophia and I had a girls day at the beach.  Seth was not sure if he wanted to go but ended up going and had fun.  Luke was not feeling so hot so he did not fish much.  When they got back the boys got the fish in the freezer and we headed to the beach for the sunset.  

 

Florida Bound

We left Kansas City to make our way to Florida via Nashville.  We stayed the night in Nashville and the hotel was fun, Jonah, Seth and I had a room and Luke and Sophia stayed with Justin.  Jonah and Justin went and grabbed us dinner and we ate in the room.  Off to Florida!

 

Kansas City Bound

Wish we were headed up for a better circumstances.  We were headed up for Aunt Lou's funeral.  We decided to stay for the week and head to Florida from Kansas City.  We did not want to drive all the way home and turn right around and drive to Florida 2 days later.  The ceremony for Aunt Lou was beautiful, Lanita did an amazing job!  After the service we all went to Cascones for lunch and then released balloons.  We watched them fly over towards the house.  We love you Aunt Lou, we know Grandma and Grandpa were welcoming you with open arms.  

 

  

   

Yearly

NEVER did I EVER think this would be a thing.  As I entered the hospital I had to sanitize and have my temperature taken and asked a series of questions... even asked why I was there.  I made it to Dr. Garners office and proceeded to sit in the waiting room having a hot flash.  I got called back and talked to the nurse and then moved to the room waiting on Dr. Garner.  He is asking how I am and I told him that my hot flashes are OUT OF CONTROL.  He gave me some options of what I could do and I told him I would think about them.  The time came for my exam and of course I start having a damn hot flash.  Talk about embarrassing.  I apologized and he understood completely but still... how humiliating!

Working On The Trucks

Jonah needed a new spark plug in his truck so Justin showed Jonah how to change it.  As few days later Justin did a break job on his truck.  He got new tires so figured it was time to change the breaks.  Luke Whitney came to watch for the back breaks because he was wanting to learn how to do them.  

Lukie Is HOME!

Luke went on a 2 week trip with Brett.  They flew to VA to the family farm, stayed a few days and then drove to Hilton Head, SC to spend a week on the beach.  After a week on the beach, they drove back to VA to spend a few more days and then flew home.  He was gone 13 days and momma missed him!  Jonah was asleep when he got home and went in punching him on the rear.  Jonah jumped up and said, "you trying to die homeboy"?  I got it on video this time!  

Justin Guys Weekend In San Antonio

The guys headed down to Marco and Debs and stayed the weekend.  It was the annual float the river trip but with COVID they changed it to just golf.   Tyler came to spend the weekend with Jonah while the guys were gone.  They went to the creek of course and found a vacuum... I am just glad they did not bring that home!   They had fun with Flat Luke too.
