Maggie Changed Schools

Image
Sophia finally got her bestie, Maggie in her class.  Then after 2 days Maggie switched schools.  Sophia was so upset but is ok with it because she did not move away.  We made Maggie this for the first day after she got home.

Mask Tie Dye Party

Image
Sophia had the gang over to tie dye masks.  I NEVER thought that would ever be a thing.

Dutch Lions 2011 vs 2012 Boys

Image
We set up another scrimmage with the 2011 team for 7v7.  Our boys dominated, I think it ended up being 11-3.  We were at hells door... it was 106 and felt like 116.

Luke and His Boys

Image
Luke had Landon, Trevor and Jaden over.  Jaden got there late so we did not get a pic with him.

Jonah Wisdom Teeth Consult

Image
Jonah went in for a consult for his wisdom teeth and all 4 need to come out.

Hair Cut and Cookies

Image
Sophia could not stand it anymore... Mimi came over to cut her hair.  After that Sophia saw an easy recipe for peanut butter cookies on Tik Tok that she wanted to try so she and Seth made some cookies.

The Dish Guy

Image
The storm blew The Dish so we did not have TV for  a week.  They finally came out and we thought this was a good idea :)  They guy had to take a pic and send it to his friends.  ha

Seth First 7v7 Scrimmages

Image
Today was Seth's first 7v7 scrimmages.  This is the first time moving up from 4v4.  They did not win and you could tell they were tired but buy the end they were figuring things out.  I cannot wait to watch them start playing Fall league.  After soccer Philip and Carter came to swim.

First Day Of School. Virtual Before F2F

Image
Today is the first day of school, not like any other first day.  They started off the year virtual for the first 3 weeks of school.  What could go wrong?  The first day was a little rough because we kept getting kicked off Zoom but finally got it worked out.  The format is synchronous and asynchronous.  They would get on Zoom with the class and then have work to do on their own and then get back on another Zoom.  Sophia and Seth had about 4 Zoom calls a day and the Jonah and Luke had to stay on all day with the different teachers.  3rd, 5th, 10th and 11th grade this year.

Meet The Teacher: COVID Style

Image
This years Meet The Teacher looked a little different this year.  It was a virtual meet the teacher since the first 3 weeks will be virtual learning and then get to go back in to the classroom, fingers crossed.  Sophia apparently was NOT tired.  I told her that the morning was going to hurt if she did not get in bed.  The pic below was taken at 10:30.

Last Days Of Summer Swim Party

Sophia invited some friends over to swim to celebrate the end of summer.  We know, we know... Covid Keira, Harper, Madelyn, Elyse, Addison, Sophia, Brielle and Maggie

Mimi and Papa's

Headed over to mom and dads for lunch.  It has been forever since we had been over there.  I think this was our first swim of the summer.  #covidsucks

Happy Birthday Ben.

Image
We went to celebrate Ben's birthday this afternoon.  Luke left early and went to see Star Wars private showing with a friend.  Jonah and Matthew went out driving to get me a Sprite and ended up at McDonalds over off 121 and Preston.  lol  He said that is where the map took him.  We took two cars so Justin and Jonah left to go get Luke and the littles and I stayed for a while longer.  On the way home Justin's truck started shaking and the lights started coming on.  When I tried to accelerate the car would not go.  We were at 121 and Legacy so I called Justin and he said he would come get us.  Sophia was freaking out, not sure why.  I told her it was daylight and I had my hazards on and to calm down.  I turned the car off and then turned it back on.  It started and let me go for about 1/4  mile before it started doing it again.  I pulled into a parking lot and coasted as far as I could go.  Justin met us there and ...

Grannie!

Image
Mom, Dad and Lisa FINALLY got to go and see Grannie!   It was only through the window but they got to lay eyes on her.  Grannie smiled when she saw them so that was good.  She was having a hard time hearing them with the headphones on.  They were just glad they could see her for the first time since March.
