Halloween

Started off Halloween at the football fields with Sophia cheering.  They dressed up as black cats and all looked so cute.  Mimi, Papa, Nic and Carlie came to watch Sophia cheer.  Seth came too and had fun throwing the football with one of the little brothers. After Sophia's game Justin and Sophia went home to check on the brisket that was on the smoker and Seth, Mimi, Papa and I went to eat lunch to come back to the fields to watch Noah play.  We had 30 min. to watch Philip play a little too.

We got home about 5:15 and started getting ready for trick or treating.  Sophia T or T with Harper, Madelyn and Maggie.  We had out annual Halloween pic at Starr's house but the group is getting smaller and smaller, it was Seth, Sophia, Philip, Carter and Hannah.

Breakfast, Friday Night Lights and Halloween Party

Miesha, Amy and I were finally able to meet up for breakfast!  Miesha picked a place in Addison called Snooze.  I had been to Costco the day before and filled up with gas and since we are always teasing how we do not go South of 121 I sent them these pics and told them I was ready for the road trip to The Tollway and Beltline.  We had a great time as usual, so great catching up with them.

Jonah #65 had a game tonight at Toyota Stadium so Justin, Mimi and Papa and I went to watch him play.  Sophia had a Halloween party at Elyse's house so we dropped here off there and Luke went to Bretts house for a party and sleepover.

Halloween with Friends.

Sophia and Addison decided they wanted to be Lifeguards for Halloween.  Momma made that happen.  I ordered the shirt and sweatshirt and then found the shorts at Academy.  I ended up buying soccer socks in case it is cold.  We had the red masks so I just put the vinyl on those when I made the shirt and sweatshirts.  They also have a float and a whistle and a bucket hat.

HOCO, Football, Hunting and Some Driving

Justin and Dad headed to Kansas to hunt on Thursday morning.  Dad picked Justin up and they hit the road at 8:00.  At 8:30 I got ready to take Luke to school and could not find Justin's truck key... it was in his pocket.  I called him and he answered the phone and said, "what did I forget"?  I asked him to check his pocket for the ONLY key to his truck that we have.  Sure enough it was in there, they were in Anna.  I took Luke to school in Jonah's truck and headed to meet them in Prosper to get the key.  They still made it in time to hunt that evening.

Sydney's mom works up at the school so she sent me this picture.  The masks make me sad!  The kids do not even realize they are wearing them at this point so that is good.

Sophia went to Harpers to carve pumpkins after school Friday.  She had fun carving, roasting the seeds and hanging with friends.

The HOCO game was at The Star so we did not have to freeze to death.  We went to watch Jonah play, we had terrible seats, we were against the wall and the seats had no backs AND we were in the Lebanon Trail section.  We tried moving seats but they had the all zip tied.  #COVIDSUCKS  We beat Lebanon Trail 45-15.  They put Jonah in the last 5 seconds of the game.  It was nice to see Tara and Justin Minter and Holley at the game.

Saturday Seth's game was cancelled due to wet fields but Sophia still had cheer.

Sunday Luke and I went driving.  He did really good and even got enough courage to get out on the main roads.  As we were pulling on to Rushmore I saw a squirrel and knew dad was going to try and get one on his hunt this weekend so I called to see if he got one or needed me to get this one.  Well, he did not get one so I had a Target bag in the truck so I jumped out and got it and went home to put it in the freezer.

Luke was going to HOCO dinner tonight so he got all dressed and I realized I had no idea how to tie a tie, Fagan to the rescue!  It was drizzling out but not terrible enough for no pictures.  They went to dinner at Bulla.  When Luke got home he could not wait to get out of the shirt that was choking him and the shoes that were killing his feet.  LOL

Army had their pictures taken today.  They turned out great!
