Sophia 11th Birthday Prep
The Corona Virus is still here and does not look to be going anywhere. There is now a vaccine that some folks are lining up for. We have no idea what the world will do in Feb. now that Biden is President. We decided to just have a few girls come over and spend the night for Sophia's birthday. We decided since it is a sleepover that we would include a pillowcase with the invitation. Sophia is still obsessed with tie dye so we went with that theme. We printed the invite and Sophia got busy on getting the pillows tie dyed. After they were made I put their name on them with the vinyl. Since we are just having a sleepover I bought some jammies for the girls too. Here is to the world not shutting back down again before then.

New Years Day
The girls wanted to start the day with Starbucks. They went in their cozy blankets that Meemaw and Pops gave them for Christmas. We came home to have the french toast they made last night.
Fagan had 2 extra tickets to the Notre Dame/ Bama Game so Justin and Eric went. Justin got home and we had basta and meatballs. The girls helped with the meatballs.

Heaven Gained An Angel Today
Today Grannie got angel wings. This last year has been a crap storm with COVID so we were not able to see her for the last year. It really sucked! We did get to do a driveby on her 100th birthday so that was special. She lived 100 years and saw a lot! She fought a hard fight after a broken hip and femur on the same leg. She was tough as nails. I hope that I look this great at 100, she even had all of her teeth!
Mom and Lisa were taking turns being with her for 24 hour shifts. There was only one visitor allowed due to COVID. Since she was moved to hospice they allowed 3 visitors a day so Dominic and I were able to go up and see her. She looked very peaceful sleeping and not in any pain. I knew when I left there that it would not be much longer because her breathing had changed so much in the short time I was there. Dominic and I left around 1:00 and dad went up to be with mom. We got word that she passed around 2:30. Rest In Peace Grannie.
