Jonah's Truck: Transmission

Jonah's transmission is acting up so Justin towed it to Joe's... I did not feel comfortable driving either truck so Fagan was in Jonah's... trying not to hit Justin.  Joe did something... did  not fix it so we took it to Frisco Automotive and they fixed it.  

 

Morton House SICK

Earlier this week Justin woke up with a sore throat and stuffy head.  Thursday at soccer practice I sat out there and the wind never stopped blowing... by the time I got home my head was so stuffy and I could not breath.  I then woke up with a sore throat, probably because I could not breath through my nose so I slept with my mouth open.  I felt crappy and by 4:00 I was D O N E!  I went and laid down and did not want to move.  I was a day behind Justin with symptoms.  We had Friday off of school for a bad weather make up day.  Sophia went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and then to Dave and Busters.  Seth had Tate come over to hang.  

By Sunday I was still not wonderful and I could not send the kids to school not knowing if it could be COVID.  Justin went and got me a test and it came back negative.  Luke said he puked four times that night and then had a headache and sore throat.  We ended up getting him a test too and it was negative.  

Sophia came in to check on me at one point like the pic below... we cracked up.  

 

Lunch With Aunt Jo

We got to see Aunt Jo today!  Mom went and picked her up and we went and met them at Gloria's for lunch.  It was SO good seeing her.  I miss seeing her and hearing her stories.  

 

Lukie

Luke is loving his guitar lessons.  He was getting ready to head out for a lesson and I snapped this.  

 

Seth's Appliance

Today Seth got his appliance to hold the space when he goes back next month to get the top braces.  

 

Soccer, Basketball And Soccer Again

Today was a busy day!  Seth had a 12:15 soccer game in East Plano, had to be there at 11:45.  We then rushed to his 1:45 basketball game in Coppell.  They practice for 30 min. and then play their game.  We left them game immediately after so we could get back to East Plano for his 3:45 game.  We left the house at 11:15 and got home at 5:30.  Brian and Val were in town so Justin and I went to dinner with them and came back to the house and they left at midnight.  It was a long day but SO worth it!

 

Justin Birthday Day #46

Justin has been wanting something to put his wood in for the smoker so I called someone I knew could make that happen!  Dad came over to take some measurements and get to work.  He had some of the last scraps from Jonah, Luke and Seths beds so he got to building.  He added hooks so he could hang his tools from it too.  It turned out PERFECT!  

I got Justin's favorite cake... red velvet bundt cake but Sophia wanted to bake him one too.  Sophia was super excited and she wanted to put a note on the red velvet cake.  When we eat if Justin gets up to get more we always say, "he gunna do one more".  So, Sophia made a note for the second cake and after he finished the first cake she made she pulled the second one out.  

We went to mom and dads to celebrate on Sunday.  Brookie Pie also graduated to the kid table!

Seth: Spacers for Braces

Today it starts... Seth got 2 spacers put in to start the braces process.  These will be for his space holder in the roof of his mouth.  

 

Jonah And His Buddies

Tonight the gang went to Chase's with their monitors and X-Box.  They all set up in the mediaroom and played all night.  These boys have been friends since elementary school.

Easter

The kids woke up to their Easter baskets filled with goodies.  The boys got XBox, Steam and V-Bucks gift card.  Sophia asked the Easter Bunny for clear mascara and a coloring book.  The littles also got a swimsuit in their basket.  Sophia wrote a note to the Easter Bunny and had her LED eggs lighting it up.   

We headed to mom and dads for lunch and mom had the tables decorated as usual and they looked amazing!  The Easter Bunny came and the kids went out and hunted easter eggs.  As we walked up to Mimi's door I noticed the "decor" on her pots.  I told her she should remove them immediately :) lol

Noah came home with us for a sleepover since we had no school Monday.  Sophia had a volleyball camp that morning so I had to break Claire Bears heart and tell her she could come next time.  Of course Noah wanted donuts so I took them and let them go in by themselves to get them, they thought they were big time!
