VBS

Noah invited Seth to go to VBS.  He was a little hesitant at first but was ok once he got there.  He ended up having a lot of fun and was glad he went. They were the red team so he sprayed his hair red one of the days.  

If It Is Not One Thing...

If it is not one thing it is another!  The boys and Sophia's showers are dripping.  Should be an easy fix but of course is WAS NOT!  Had a call a plumber out to fix it.  Then we noticed that we did not have hot water... easy fix, lit the pilot.  

The overflow for the AC has been dripping for a couple of months.  Could not figure out why since the drip pans were bone dry.  Justin was talking to Ronnie and he had the same problem 2 days prior... told us to look for the drain where it should be draining from... BINGO, it was under Seth's sink and he took the hose off and sure enough... FIXED!  It was clogged.  

 

Florida Keys with Chase and Robert

Jonah and Robert went to The Keys with Chase, Jeff and Shelly.  They had an amazing house and went fishing.  The first day they caught enough and had it cooked up and had about 7lbs of fish.  Jonah caught a barracuda the fist day as did Robert.  They also caught other things that the got to eat.  The second day they stayed on shore and fished and then the 3rd day went back out.  Poor Jonah got sea sick and was in the bathroom for 7 hours on the boat.  He said as soon as his feet hit land he felt better.  He had gotten so sick he did not want to eat a lot though.  They had a great time and so glad he got to do that with these guys.  He and Robert have been fishing together since middle school.

 

Seth Only Child This Week

Seth is the only kiddo home this week!  We went to Urban Air today with Nico, Mitchell, Jordan and Koen.  Tuesday we went to breakfast with Jenny and then had movie night, we watch Luca.  

 

SKY RANCH 2021 SOPHIA

THE BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR IS FINALLY HERE... Sky Ranch!  Sophia could NOT wait until camp week this year.  She LOVES it there and looks forward to it every year.  This is her 5th year, 4th year sleep away.  She decorated the car this year with a little help from dad.  Momma was SO PROUD of the girls for jumping on the FRONT ROW so I could actually see the outfits I made.  Sophia said it was the BEST year yet!  This year she was with Kate, Harper, Keira and Maggie went for the first time.  She was super excited when she made the end of the week video, TWICE!

Sophia always loves to see her Welcome Home banner.  I decided to prank her this year and did a really sloppy one and put it on her door frame.  I wish I could have a picture of the look of disgust on her face when she saw it :)  lol  She then walked in to see the real sign!  She was very excited, I changed it up this year and made it a little more fun.  He counselor suggested that she does Morph next year instead of Sky 4.  She was really excited about that!  She is already signed up and ready for next year.  

 

Caroline's Graduation Party

Today we went to Caroline's graduation party.  So great to see family that we have not seen in a while.  Caroline will be going to Arkansas.

 

SKY RANCH Luke Sigma Jr. 6th Year Camper CO Bound

Luke headed out to Van with us and he would hop on the bus that would take them to CO for the week.  They drove through the night and hit the pavement running when they arrived.  Of course I stalked the website daily for pics and since they do not have great internet up in the mountains there were not many pictures uploaded.  

It was a LONG two weeks for this momma.  They left CO and headed to OK for a few days and did some community service and got hours.  We picked Luke up in Plano and I could not hug him fast enough.  It was so great seeing all the kids hug on each other and tell them they would see then later.  

Luke goes to school with over half of these kids and it cracks me up that they do not even talk outside of camp.  He said that they are all like brothers when they are there.  This group has been going the same week since Luke started going.  He was super excited to tell us all about it and cannot wait to go back his FINAL year as a camper next summer!
