Jonah Senior Pictures

Courtney did Jonah's senior pictures today and we could not have been happier!  They all turned out AMAZING and just what we imagined.  For months I stressed out about what we wanted to do for pictures.  I could not buy him dress clothes and a suit for pictures because that is just not Jonah!  I looked for months on Pinterest for ideas and Jonah decided he liked the outdoorsy ones.  I then had to figure out what to wear for these.  Trying to find a pair of jeans to fit this boys thighs is nearly impossible.  I FINALLY found some Wranglers from Walmart for $20.  That was after we sent back $150 ones from Nordstrom.  I then found some tops that were easy enough.  

Courtney told us to meet her at the pond at the end of the street.  We loaded up his bow and gun and headed off.  I love that this is where Jonah has grown up going to the creek and and playing for hours.  

 

UGH... Christmas Tree

Got the tree put up and SHOCKER the lights do not work! We spent THREE and HALF HOURS taking the lights off.  Of course it sat for over a week and we finally went and bought lights then bought more lights and then more lights and then blew a fuse every 20 min. until Justin figured out how to fix it.  We are now back in business.  

Texas Legends Game

We took these crazies to the Texas Legends game.  They had a good time and the Legends WON

 

Sophia's First Walk To Kroger

Sophia was beyond excited to get to walk to Kroger today!  She has been asking and momma finally said yes.  I think they were inside for an hour and bough junk.  LOL

 

Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving was at our house since mom and dad are in the middle of the remodel.  I made asparagus bundles and green bean bundles.  I sure wish my taste and smell was back so I could have tasted them.  It has been four months since I lost it... I am OVER it.  Sophia made cake pops with dads help.  Jonah and Luke went to Kroger for Sprite Cranberry and they did not have it so went to another Kroger.  They found the liter bottles 2 for $4.  They asked how many they could get.  I told them they could spend $20 so they brought home 16 bottles.

 

Seth And Tate At The Star

Tate came to hang out for the day and the boys had so much fun.  We went to get frozen yogurt and then they wanted to go to The Star and throw the football.  They got a little pick me up game going.  We went to Whalburgs for a burger and then back out to the field to throw some more.  

 

Duck Hunt With Pops and Ronbo

These three headed out to Darrins to hunt.  They did not see much but had a great time.  Got some great Pops sleeping photos... even Remington joined in.  

 

Happy 6th Birthday Remington

Remington Mahomes turns SIX today!  This sweet boy got to go to Starbucks and get a puppuccino.  Happy Birthday Remington!

 

Thursday Night Lights PLAYOFF GAME SOC Raccoon 24 SOC 35

Tonight was another playoff game against South Oak Cliff.  We played at Globe Life Park which is a TERRIBLE venue for football.  We were SO far from the field it was hard to see.  A baseball park is not meant for football.  We had high hopes of beating SOC this year but they just could not make it happen!  This would be the last time Jonah took the field!  I was ok with it... until I saw his Instagram post, que the water works!  "What I wouldn't give to do it all again #65out" got this momma!  It was so much fun watching you play over the years!  So proud of you, goose!

 

Shower Door

The master shower door has been a problem for a few years.  It was to the point that Seth could not open it anymore.  You had to pull up and out at the same time and it was still a pain.  Justin watched vidoes, went to multiple stores trying to find parts to fix it and finally got the door off to try and fix it.  We were taking it outside to clean all the black crap off the bottom and well... typical Morton fashion this happened.  LOL

 

Army Cheer Party

Sophia had her Army Cheer end of season party.  We went to The Truck Yard and the girls sang karaoke and Sophia got the "Best Jump" award.   

Playoff Game Friday Night Lights Raccoon WIN 48- Royce City 28

Tonight we played at The Star against Royce City.  Another RACCOON WIN!  Jonah got to play in this game and it was so exciting to watch.  Look below to see Jonah "swimming" on a player... their guy kept doing it to ours so Jonah decided to do it to theirs. LOL
