Mom And Dad 50th Party

As soon as Spring Break was over Carlie and I started planning mom and dads 50th surprise party.  We kept it small since we decided to do it at our house.  I told Carlie I would need A LOT of help since I am in the middle of planning Jonah's party and all the stuff in between.  I was hoping to find pics of them but their house is still packed up from the remodel and there is stuff everywhere so I knew I would never find them.  I did happen to have 2 pics so I picked one of those to have a life size cut out made.  

Carlie ordered Mexican so we had that brought in and had the cake made.  Carlie and Brooke came over so we could get the balloon arch done and things set up.  Charlotte made the flower arrangements that I did not end up with a pic of!  

Julie, Ranick and the kids came, Charlotte, Lynn, Janelle, June and Vicki.  We had a great time.  Carlie made a drink that was a big hit, a Paloma.  

The last pic I posted was us at Grandma and Grandpa Sherpy's 50th!

 

A Honor Roll

Sophia got an award for HONOR ROLL!  She has made straight A's ALL YEAR!  So proud of all her hard work.  Keep it up sister!

 

Big Day For Seth!

Today was a HUGE day for Seth!  I am SO PROUD of him.  Koen had his birthday party today and they were playing paintball and axe throwing.  Seth has said no to many of birthday parties because I will not be there with him.  He asked if I would be at Koen's and I told him I would be since I knew his mom.  Kelly knows about his anxiety and was ok with me staying.  Well, I ended up leaving after about 30 min. and left him there for a couple of hours.  When I got back to pick him up he was good... Kelly said at one point he got a little upset but snapped out of is quickly!  

 

Chase Grad Party

Jeff and Shelly loaded up these guys and took them out to Rough Creek Lodge for the day and night.  They played paintball and shot 5 stand. They had a great time and I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall.

Easter

Easter looked a little different for the first time in EIGHTEEN years!  I could not find our Easter baskets and Sophia said that we left them at Mimi and Papa's last year and Mimi was going to redo the ribbon on the baskets... well, that was never done!  They were packed up somewhere at mom and dads and there was NO WAY we were finding them since their entire house is packed up for the remodel!

Seth found an egg that was cleary from last year.

 

I Am Going To Miss Seeing These Cars!

Saturday morning on my way home from Starbucks I had to stop and snap this pic.  I then felt my eyes fill with tears... All these guys are going off in different directions in the Fall.  They had all spent the night at Chase's the night before.  Friday night we noticed a magnet on Jonahs tailgate that said, "Student Driver" and then we noticed that Robert and Jonah blocked Nick in and Jonah said that do that everytime... LOL

I know these boys are going off to do great things but I am sure going to miss them!  

 

Justin's Birthday

We squeezed in a cake and some singing for Justin's birthday... We had a 9:00 soccer game, 12:30 haircut for Seth, a 3:00 and a 4:00 volleyball game.  Sunday we got up and started working in the yard to get ready for mom and dads 50th surprise anniversary party.  

The next week we celebrated at Mimi and Papa's.  We had to put Seth's 12 on there :)

 

Lonestar Vs. Highland Park

Lonestar High School was in the playoffs for soccer so took Seth to the game and met up with a few Dutch Lions to support Coach Clinton bring his team to a 2-0 WIN!  

 

Justin And Stud Hunt

Justin met Stud out at his land to do a little hunting.  I am not sure how much hunting was done but know they had a great time.  Of course Stud sent me his annual sausage pic :)  LOL  he has been doing this to me since our days out at Tech.
