Cheer

Hunt played Trent tonight and we lost by one TD.  I love watching this little girl cheer along side the cheerleaders every week.  Sophia would do that at all of Jonah's game.  

My Sweet Jonah Bear

Jonah called and was on his way to rescue some girls from the DU Club, their car would not start.  They send a message to the DU text thread and asking for help so Jonah headed out to give them a jump.  He said they posted this pic on the group text.  So proud of that kiddo for stepping up.

 

Soccer Game and Texas Tech/UT Game

Today was crazy and awesome to say the least!  Justin went to Lubbock for the Tech/UT game so Seth and I headed to his soccer game.  We thought Wilco was able to coach but we still had one more week without him... he was not on roster so had to leave the fields.  Such a fun surprise that Kaleb and Ronnie showed up.   I have not seen Kaleb in years!  I was hoping to visit with him but the league had other plans.  Since Wilco was not able to coach and we had no other coach there that was on roster, I had to coach.  Yes, you read that correct!  I told the ref he could not be serious, he was VERY serious since I was the only one with a background check.  

I was set and ready to coach and THANK GOODNESS Nico and Jordan came running over to rescue me! No worries though, I had my eye on Wilco the entire game on the other side of the tennis courts and he would call every 3-4 minutes to tell me who to pull and put in.  Talk about stressful and I did not even coach!

Of course our cable was out so Seth and I went next door to watch the game.  Mark was texting me and we had some fun back and forth.  THE RED RAIDERS WON!!!  

Hunt vs. Clark

Hunt played Clark tonight and these girls cheered together on Army.  Mr. Marianna came out to see them all cheer.  

The Gang Is All Here

The gang is all here waiting on the bus.  Aubrey, Kennedy, Athena, Rylie, Seth and Carlisle.

 

Volleyball

Tonight Hunt played Pearson so Sophia got to play against Tinsley.  So glad that Meemaw, Mimi and Papa can make the games.  

 

Jonah 19th B-day

Got to celebrate Jonah's Birthday!!!  Momma's heart was happy that we got to celebrate him, I was so sad I was going to miss his birthday.  After 47 soccer games we went to Mimi and Papa's to celebrate.  It was a late night since Noah had a 6:00 game.  I even got to hang streamers on his door, I know deep down he was excited!

 

Labor Day Tournament/ Jonah's Surprise Visit

Seth had a Labor Day Tournament this weekend.  We had four games on the schedule and the rain had other plans.  WE SO NEEDED THIS RAIN!!!  Jonah drove in to surprise everyone and I was so glad he did and I did not tell anyone!  He showed up at Seth's game and he was beyond excited.  

Justin and Jonah headed out to Sean's to dove hunt on Sunday and Jonah was heading back to school from there.  So glad we got to celebrate Jonah's birthday with him a little early.  Momma was having a tough time with not being able to celebrate with him.  

On Sunday the sky opened up right when we were heading to the fields.  They had not called the game so we headed that way.  It was raining so hard that I just had to pull over, we sat in front of mom and dads house for a while.  I kept hitting refresh on my phone to see if they were calling it.  Who knew if it was even raining at the fields.  Well, they called it so the team went to eat pizza.  

The rainout was then turned into a shoot out.  We were told to be at one park and as I am in the parking lot with the rest of the DFW area our game was moved to a different park.  We pretty much did not move in the parking lot for about 20 min. there were SO MANY people.  I decided to block everyone to do a 3 point turn to get out of there... thank goodness I was in the Jeep because we went up on the curb.  About that time I see one of our players in that mess I had just been sitting in so I had him jump in the car with me.  My phone was blowing up with people asking where the game was and that it had moved and I had NO IDEA because I was driving and could not check.  We got out of the parking lot and got to the other park to be told that the 9:00 game would not occur because the fields were closed until 10:00 and then the 8:00 and 8:30 had to play theirs first.  

It was complete chaos and so stressful for this team manager but the boys had fun even though they lost in the shoot out.  

In between our games we would go watch Noah and the 2011's play.  We got in a lot of soccer this weekend!

Game One: 14-1 WIN

Game Two: 3-0 WIN after a 3rd lightning delay called the game with 15 min. left

Game Three: 2-2 TIE

Game Four: Rained out and rescheduled

Game Four turned in to a shoot out and we lost.
