SKY RANCH

This year there were eight girls that were wanting to be together but they only let a chain of four be together.  We split in to groups of 4.  Sophia, Kate, Claire and Mercer and then Keira, Harper, Taylen and Lexi.  Unfortunately Sophia, Kate, Claire and Mercer got in Chamberlain and the others in Railhouse.  It was OK because they were sister cabins in the past.  

This was the least stressful year of packing yet!  Only one camper this year.  We decided it was time to update her pictures in her trunk so Sophia picked out new pics and put them in.  They girls wanted matching shirts so Sophia came up with an idea and I executed.  They wrong color tank came in put we went with it.  

Sophia could hardly stand it and was SO EXCITED that she was going to get to see Claire.  She has not seen her since last summer.  They have become close this year and talk all the time.  It stinks because she lives in Vegas.   

When we saw Sophia she looked at me and said it was the worst year yet!  I asked her why and she said the food was awful!  She usually loves the food.  She then said that everyone was throwing up and some kids even went home early.  She did have a good time and was excited to sign up for next year though.  

More Soccer And Volleyball

The game where the girls took our boys out and momma almost went to jail.  This team was DIRTY and they played so rough.  The picture of Brooks sums it up... the ref was calling NOTHING.  Seth was stepped on multiple times and even coach was pissed and said something to their coach and he just laughed it off.  One of the moms starting yelling at Seth and luckily momma did not hear it because I was at the other end of the field but Kelly heard and said something back and that is when that mom came over and stood over Kelly yelling in her face.  UNEXCEPTABLE.  I let Seth's back talk slid today.  

Sophia had her volleyball tournament and they won second!  The entire season was a shit show but they pulled it off.  

VBS Leaders

Sophia, Madelyn and Brielle volunteered to be VBS helpers for the week.  They will get to log 16 hours for NJHS

Sport Weekend

Seth was had a few games this weekend and so did Sophia.  Seth was in a tournament and it was SO FREAKING HOT.  Our last game we had no ref or linesman so the game started late and a ref who was headed home said he would do it.  We did not have any line refs so Jeremy and John helped out.  

 

Stefanie, Chloe and Jeremiah In Town

Stefanie had some properties to look at in town so we got to see them for a quick visit!  

 

One Mans Trash...

Stacie called Jonah to come pick up some stuff for a dump run.  We were watching Winston so mom and dad could go to San Antonio.  When we walked outside and saw this in his truck mom and I said, "NOPE, pull that sucker out"!  We got our wheels turning for a piece for Jonah's house in Lubbock.  Well of course as soon as they got home from SA, dad got busy and whipped this little gem out!  It turned out AMAZING!  he added drawers (cedar of course) lol.  He added the legs and pulls and front of doors with cedar too.  I did not want Jonah to take it, I wanted if for our house but I lost...  to Lubbock it goes.  

 

Tyler Grad Party

When your besties kiddo graduates you feel like it's one of your own.  Congrats Tyler!  We went up to Top Golf to celebrate.  Later that night Justin went to OK to a concert with the crew.
