Morton Madness

Halloween looked different this year.  Got a call from the school nurse that Sophia was running fever... she was going to be a prisoner. Seth went to Trick or Treat with Noah and Justin said they ran the entire time.   Sophia slept from 3:00-6:15 then fell back to deep until 8:00, got up and showered then back to sleep until 9:20 Wednesday morning.    We got our annual neighbor pic and it is getting smaller and smaller.  This year it was Philip, Carter, Seth, Hannah and Molly.    

Tech played the Aggies in Denton today.  Justin, Nic, Papa, Seth and Noah had fun watching Tech take the WIN.  89-84

Tickets went on sale in September for Taylor Swifts Eras Tour movie.  We got tickets so the girls could see the concert all over again.   They each dressed as a era.  They had a BLAST.  I watched the girls more than the screen.   Ticket: $19.95 Taylor cup: $8 Taylor popcorn bucket: $8 Watching the girls dance and sing every word... priceless!  

Luke asked if we could do sugu and meatballs... I helped but he did most of the work, Sasha helped make meatballs, not sure how much she enjoyed it but they had fun.  

Tonight was the last football game... no more middle school Monday night lights, on to basketball cheer.    

Tonight the sunset was absolutely beautiful!  Great night for some football! 

Seth is usually the biggest on the field... NOT today.  There was another boy a head taller than Seth and built just like Seth.  It all happened so fast, Seth kicked the ball and before he could get his foot back down the other kid came out and ran into Seth like a  brick wall.  Seth fell and his ankle twisted, you could hear him crying and I knew it wasn't going  to end well.   We let him rest for a week and then decided to take him to get it looked at since it was not getting any better.  One x-ray later it was just a bad sprain.  Got some exercises to do at home and got an ankle brace... that he won't wear because it is too big with his cleat.    

The girls wanted to go to the haunted house in The Colony that is outdoors and they had a blast.  I drove and group and Stacy drove a group.  We hung out in the parking lot while they walked through, it took them about 45 min. and then wanted concessions inside Blue Sky.  Sophia, Harper, Eunnah, Madelyn, Valentina, Keira, Sofia, Elyse, Sorenna, Ayla and Brielle

Aunt Amy was in town and got to watch Sophia cheer!
