Why I Wish My Children Did NOT Cook

I love that the kids cook for themselves but they just cannot clean up... This time it was Luke... he made a steak on the stove and left a mess EVERYWHERE, the entire stove had grease splatter and evey counter had something left on it.  His excuse... he had to go to work.   

 

Basta And Meatballs

Luke has been asking for meatballs and sugu every week... it is exhausting to make but well worth it.  I made almost 6 lbs of meatballs this time... that should last at least two days.  

Luke's Car Hit In Parking Lot

Luke text Justin and said that his car had been hit.  He was working a double, got there at 9:00 am and would not be home until 10:30 that night.  He text early evening and said someone watched this truck hit him and drive off.  They wrote the license plate down and happened to call iFratelli to let someone know that they witnessed it.  So glad the person called to let someone know.  I seriously do not know how anyone can just drive off.  

Justin spoke with the guy who hit the car and said he was very nice.  They guy said he drives a really big truck and did not even realize he hit it.  (not sure how) but he did the right thing and cut Justin a cashiers check for $2700 after we got a quote to fix it.  

 

Volleyball

Sophia had a game today and as we were pulling in she asked why Marinn was at PSA.  I asked her how she knew and of course she saw her location on Snapchat.  She text her and she was there for a ref class.  Julie and Harper came and got to watch Sophia's game.  We won all three sets and this put us in first place!  Coach Stacie is hardcore... These girls should be smoking all these teams but making careless mistakes and NOT CALLING THE BALL.  Stacie finally told them if the ball drops three times she is calling a time out and they have to do push ups, curl ups or run.  They thought she was kidding but learned quickly she was not.  

Justin Seattle Trip

Justin, Darin, Leo and Stuart headed out to Seattle to start work on the Darigold project!  They left Sunday night and got back late Friday night.  All the equipment wasn't there yet so they have to go back next week.

Last Hunt Of The Season

Justin and Remington headed out to Ladonia for one last hunt of the season.  No ducks on this cold day but Remington had fun.
