Morton Madness

When the very expensive car headphones fall out of the car at the bus stop you do what you can to save them!  

These crazies wanted to go fish this morning.  It was freezing and Noah was NOT happy with Aunt Al when I made him put on pants AND a coat :)  After fishing we got to watch history being made while Trump was sworn in for a second term of Presidency!    

It might be FREEZING out but Seth was determined to go practice his casting.  We went to Meemaws to meet Keatons youngest, Zayn. 

Sophia headed to Young Life Camp Saturday morning and came home Monday evening.  She had a blast and met some new girls.    

Seth had a tournament this weekend and we got three games in before they canceled the last day due to extremely cold temps.    

UIL Day!  The girls have been working so hard for this day and it is finally here.  I am so proud of Sophia and all her hard work and dedication through this journey.  She was an alternate and the day before competition she was told she would be going in and competing the next day.  Justin and I were so excited for her and she rocked it on that stage!

 Woohoo... snow day number 2!  We got the notice early that school would be closed on Friday too.  The kids were pretty excited to have another snow day.  

Seth wanted to cook dinner tonight.  He put on ski goggles to cut the onion.  

The big storm was coming so they canceled school for Thursday so of course that means SLEEPOVER with friends,  we just went back from Christmas Break on Tuesday!  The radar was every color of the rainbow.  It snowed early this morning and then turned to sleet and rain for about 8 hours.  Once the temp dropped again around 8:00 last night it started snowing again.  They went ahead and canceled school on Friday as well.   The kids would go in shifts so the since it was rain and not snow they were soaked.  They would come and put all their stuff in the dryer to get ready and go back out.  My dryer did not stop all day and neither did the boot/glove dryer.   Parker and Seth decided they wanted to start their own business selling fishing merch.  They got busy coming up with a design for the logo.  They were so excited and could not wait to make a hoodie so we got some hand me down ones out of Luke's closet and made them one rig...
