BOOM goes they Dynamite... again

Image
Jonah had another great season with the Dynamite. They just finished first place in indoor again. We are sad that the coaches will no longer be coaching so we will be moving to another team.

17 months old

Sophia is 17 months old! She is all over the place and loves playing with her big brothers. She tries to keep up with them all the time. If she sees you grab your keys or sees keys laying around she says, "car, car, I go car." She is still eating us out of house and home, she does NOT stop... EVER. She still does not like her hair to be put up but she actually left it up for the picture.

Sleep over at Aunt Kelly and Uncle Jason's

Image
Uncle Jason and Aunt Kelly came to pick the boys up for a sleep over. They took them to the pool and let them swim and eat dinner. They had a great time together as always. The boys did not know that I was going to be picking them up in the morning with the car loaded and we were heading to Austin to see Aunt Amy! Jason told me that while at the pool a woman came over to ask him if Jonah was with him. Jason told her yes and she told him that she just wanted to say how sweet Jonah was to share his ball with her daughter who was a lot younger. That makes a momma proud right there!

Friends

Jonah has been asking if Ethan can come play so we set up a play date and he was super excited. Luke had Barrett over and they all had a great time. We went to McDonalds and picked up lunch and they were so silly.

Movie night

Tonight we had family movie night minus Sophia. I bought Rango and we popped some pop corn and headed to the bedroom. Guess we should have viewed it BEFORE we let the boys see it :(

Yes... seriously!

11:00 I decide to leave the house so I could fill my car up with gas and then swing by Dominic and Carlie's house to feed the cats and water the plants since they are out of town. This gives me ONE hour to do these two things before I have to pick the boys up from camp at noon. This is all happening within a 10 mile radius, it can be done. I fill up the truck, get to Nic's, leave my purse and phone in the car, walk in, lock the door behind me, set my keys on the counter, feed the cats, scoop the poop and then headed out back to water the plants. If you are wondering WHY I just listed in detail what I did keep reading to find out. It was so stinking hot out there and I am holding Sophia because she has no shoes on and I do not want her to burn her feet. We get done watering the plants and walk over to the door, turn the door knob and it is L O C K E D! LOCKED folks! My keys are in there, I have to get the boys in 20 minutes. My mind is racing and I run over to the gate, ...

"I WANT THE OTHER SIDE!"

Since I have not been grocery store this week we have been cleaning out the fridge, freezer and pantry for lunch and dinners. Today I decided that we should head to Subway for a nice change. I went in to this idea with good intentions but lets just say it did not END that way. I even planned ahead and asked the boys what they wanted before we even got our shoes on to head out. Their response, "the same thing I always get". We of course waited until 12:15 before we left the house and you KNOW we cannot get out of the house without a fight. You know, who opens the door, who is the first one out the door then who shuts the house door and once we are outside we have to argue over who is going to get in the car first. Then who is going to sit in what seat and who did what last and WHO THE *&$^%&$* CARES! GET IN, SIT DOWN, BUCKLE UP AND ZIP YOUR LIPS AND NO I AM NOT TURNING ON THE MOVIE,CAN MOMMY'S CHEEKS HIT THE LEATHER BEFORE I GET SLAMMED WITH DEMANDS PLEAS...
