Morton Madness

This tooth has been loose for a while and the permanant tooth had already poked up behind it. It was like he lost a tooth but there was not hole... I see ortho in our future!

We ARE The Mortons... We were getting all packed up and ready to head home, realease papers were signed and the bags were packed. We put Seth in his coming home outfit and put him in the carrier and he was screaming BLOODY murder! NOT HAPPY. Finally after a minute or so I decided to get him out because I could not stand it! I decide that I would hold him and get a going home picture... then it hit me, literally! As I stood there trying to calm my sweet boy I felt something run and DRIP off my hand. What could this be? I was scared to look, then I did and noticed a nice brownish yellow liquid running down my hand. He had a major BLOWOUT! It was ALL over his outfit! Thank goodness I had packed a second outfit for him to wear so that he could VOMIT ALL OVER IT as soon as we put it on him :) By this time we were laughing so hard. We were now fresh out of outfits, we wiped up the vomit, put a blanket over him and off we went! That night mom and dad brought over some dinner and Ron and Nina...

Nina took the boys to see a movie this afternoon and Justin went home to stay with Sophia since she would not sit through a movie. Daddy and Sophia took a 2 hour nap! I even got a nice nap in with Seth. Justin came up with Sophia to see Seth and then Nina met him there with the boys. Justin went home tonight so we could keep Sophia on a good sleep schedule. Mom came up to stay with me and Seth. It was a LOOOOOOONG night! Little Seth was up half the night and only wanted to be held so Mimi "let" him sleep with her. :)

The kids spent the night with mom and dad and then headed up to see Seth after breakfast. This time they were super excited to see him. Sophia was obsessed with going to see the fish down the hall and wearing the gloves. The boys played on their iTouches and kept busy. Later that afternoon Nina took the kids back home and she spent the night with them at our house. Justin went home to help put Sophia down then came back up to the hospital to stay with me.

Ready or not... its go time! I thought this day would never get here. We had to be at the hospital at 10:00 for my noon surgery. We got checked in and I got to my room to get preped for surgery. They wheeled me off to the OR, I walked in, jumped up on the table got my spinal block/epideral and downed my yummy shot and its all a blur from there. WARNING... WARNING... WARNING... WARNING... I cannot even believe that Justin took them myself :) It is pretty gross but glad I have them :) I was ready to go at noon and Seth was born at 12:16pm weighing 8lbs 12oz. and 19.29 inches long with a head full of hair. His hair had a red tint to it and of course red headed Dr. Garner and his crazy self said, "Let me state for the record...". He is absolutly hilarious!
