Morton Madness

We had our annual Henley, Yar and Morton Christmas.  The Atkins moved back so they got to join us this year!  Justin smoked a brisket and everyone else brought some sides.  

Kims birthday is on Christmas Day so we decided to celebrate a little early!  Happy Birthday Kim!

Seth had his happy birthday Jesus party today.  Second party that he has NOT cried!  They did a craft, had a cupcake and then a book exchange.   As Seth and I were walking out to the car after  the party we were a row away from my truck.  I watched the lady back out of her parking spot and noticed that she was NOT going to stop and she was going to hit my truck...before I could react BAM she hit it!  SERIOUSLY!  She jumped out of the car and said, " did I just hit your car?  My camera isn't working".  Did she REALLY just say that?  Who looks to back up only using the camera???  TURN YOUR HEAD LADY!!!   So, now I get to waste my time taking my car in for an estimate and then BACK AGAIN to get repaired!  ugh  Did I mention that last year on December 11th I was rear ended on the way to Sophia's party???  

Sophia wrote this letter while Justin was out of town. A couple of days ago my daddy went to Arkansas.   I miss him I think he is having so much fun in Arkansas.   Love dad!

I was not home when Jonah go home from school so he called and asked if he could have a turn on the XBox.   I told him to ask Luke to finish up and then he could have a turn.  I then get this text!
