Morton Madness

Sophia had been asking if Kate could come for a sleepover ever since they got home from camp.  We went and picked her up and they swam, swam and swam.  They even had matching PJ's.

Brian and the kids came in town so we had them over for the day and then invited The Amezcua's, Keisers, Henley, Sherpys, Yars, Studszinskis, over to come and see them.  Justin smoked a brisket and after dinner and most everyone left the kids jumped in the pool.  They finally warmed up to each other and were having so much fun playing basketball in the pool.  We cannot wait to see them again!  

Grannie fell and broke her femur so had surgery today.  Julie was there and it was her 40th so we took a picture with Gran before surgery.  Justin was home working on the pool.  The polaris wasn't working so Justin replaced the capacitor but that did not fix the problem so he replaced the pump.  Three hours later is working!  He worked on that AFTER he fixed the washing machine that was not draining and spinning right.  He replaced a part for $50.  

Nothing better that an impromptu play date.  They ended up swimming for hours and then ended up spending the night at Madelyn's and Sophia stayed there until 5:00 the next day!

Sophia was so excited to see Elle.  She has missed seeing her at school since she moved schools.  They swam for a few hours and even ate lunch in their fort.  They had a blast doing handstands and flips off the tanning ledge.  

Kelly and the kids came to hang out for a while today to catch up.   

My babies are COMING HOME!!!  We left the house at 7:00 this morning and headed down to pick the kids up.  We could not wait to squeeze them!  We picked up Sophia first and when she saw me she said, "mommy" ran towards me and cut left running and jumping into Jonah's arms!  She was smiling ear to ear and I could not wait to hear all about it... after we sit through the closing again and wait to get Luke. We finally got to get Lukie!  He was smiling too.  I thought for sure they would pass out in the car but no such luck... Sophia talked and talked and talked and talked!  She cannot wait to go back next year.  Luke signed up for next year too.   When I was unpacking this fell out of Luke's Bible.  My eyes filled with tears as I read it.  Sweet Luke.
