Today we celebrated Grannie's 99th birthday! Mom and I went a few days later to visit Aunt Jo for her 97th birthday. We got to meet some of her friends and enjoy watching them eat lunch.
These crazies worked themselves up all over a flu shot! I brought Jonah and Luke before school and checked them out early because I knew they would not want to go back to school. I was glad Seth could get his shot because I had him in for a sick visit. His throat hurt and was coughing really bad. Strep came back negative and it was viral, croup. Sophia was a hot mess and cried and freaked herself out. After a few deep breaths she relaxed.
It was time to get rid of the twin over full bunk beds that Jonah and Luke were in. Poor Luke would crawl up the stairs and fold himself up to get in bed. Mom and Dad came over to help paint. We painted the walls and the crown molding black and the walls a light grey color. Papa went and bought some old pickets to make the headboards and window valance. They turned out awesome! The boys are excited and Luke has a big bed now!
