Morton Madness

Luke went to see Star Wars with his buddies and then they all went to Bretts for a sleepover.  There was some miscommunication and so I went to pick the boys up and we had an extra.  I had to tell them to NEVER do what I was doing :)  Luke was up front with the most room. Landon is sitting in Seth's booster seat.  LOL

Seth had a game this morning and within 5 minutes Fieldhouse lost power.  It never came back on so we had to reschedule the game.  Seth did score a goal in that little time so he as super excited.  Meemaw and Pops came to watch him play.   We got home from the game and loaded up the truck and headed to Chris and Donalds new Farm for our annual Christmas.  Jonah and Luke rode with Mimi and Papa down there.  It is in Wills Point so it is only a little over an hour away.  Remington was super excited that he got to come with us.  Winston, Lexi and Tux were all there too.  Remington had a blast in the pond and running all over chasing the mule while Donald drove us around.   We fished, played cornhole, built a bonfire, that was the kids favorite part.  They drug out branch after branch after branch.  We also raked a ton of leaves to throw in there.   After a wonder dinner Donald played Bingo with...

Seth and Sophia had their Christmas class parties.  They had fun and came home early with me.  

Today was Sophia's 4th Annual Christmas Party.  Instead of a craft or cookie decorating party like in the past, she decided to do a scavenger hunt.  She asked if I could make shirts for everyone with their monogram on them.  I decided to deliver them with the invitations.  The invitation was their first clue.  Seth and I hid all the clues for the girls to find.  We kept it on our street so we could keep an eye on all of the kids.  The kids broke up into two teams and were given a list of clues and off they went.  I had seen some white Christmas trees that I fell in love with and Papa made it happen!  I had the garland already so Papa cut the trees out and they were perfect for the backdrop!  After they found everything they came back to the house for some hot chocolate that Stacey brought over along with all the toppings.  They made Tik Toks and a word scramble and played outside.  Sophia told me that she had a great time....

Justin has been looking at trucks for Jonah for 6 months or more.  Every time he would find one it would be gone the next day.  He found this one out in OK.  Papa came over and met Justin and they went out to Carrollton to look at another one they found the night before they were heading to OK to get this one.  It was not as in good of condition as this one so they headed to OK.  It is a 2011 Ford F150.  Happy Birthday to Papa, he got to drive 10 hours that day!  Thank  you Papa! When we got it home we parked it at our neighbors the next street over.  We would drive by it multiple times and Jonah never noticed it.  

Madelyn did an escape room for her party.  Jenny called me that morning telling me that Hudson was sick and so Matt was going to stay home with him and asked if I could come help out with the party.  they escaped with a minute and a few seconds left. The girls were going to go back to Jenny's for a taco bar.  Since Hudson was sick Stacy Tompkins offered for the girls to go back to her house for the taco bar.  Stacy was not even going to be home, Kelly was there and she volunteered him.  Justin would have killed me, HA! After the party Jenny and I headed over to Stacys and set up the taco bar.  The girls loved making their own tacos and then played truth or dare until it was time to go.

The kids LOVE blueberry muffins so they made a couple of batches.  Pretty sure there were only 3 out of the 24 left.
