Morton Madness

As we all know during this quarantine that the #1 show on Netflix is Tiger King.  Justin and I started watching and what a train wreck!  We could NOT stop watching.   We binged watched and finished in 2 days.  Kids?  What kids... they were on their own!  Ha, we needed to see what this was all about.  Here is a text conversation between us.  

Mok's 50th was canceled due to the quarantine!  We did not let that stop us, we went down to Adonia's for a little get together.  We all sat in a circle in the two car garage 6 feet apart from one another.  We got to hang out for a few hours and have human contact other than our immediate family so that was nice.  Happy 50th!

 I am a stay at home mom so besides summer time I have some time to myself during the day before the madness of after school activities start.  Justin works from home so I get to see him all day most days.  My morning and daily routine came to a screeching  halt.  I would get the littles out the door at 7:05 and jump in the shower and then the bigs would leave around 8:20.  I would then either go get my Starbucks and come home and enjoy it or go run errands and clean the house.  I have now been Starbucks free for 21 days.  TOOT TOOT. That is HUGE for me.  I know the bank account is happy! As much as I enjoy the kids being home I had no time to prepare.  I now do not get a break and see them ALL DAY LONG.  The dishwasher and sink are constantly full, someone is ALWAYS eating and I hear my name 8 million times a day all day.  I know we are all safe at home so that is how I am coping with all this.  I miss my people and j...

There is a first time for everything but never did I ever think... we would do a drive by birthday party!  Today Brielle turned 10 and her party was canceled due to the pandemic of COVID 19.  We decided to all get in our car and drive over to help her celebrate.  We stayed in our cars and all sang happy birthday to her.  

Since we are eLearning and ALL things are shut down we heated the pool so the kids could swim.  They were so excited to finally swim!  

Since everyone is quarantined in their houses we decided to have a House Party for Amanda.  So great to actually see faces!  Yet another first!

A couple of times a week the kids have a ZOOM call with their teachers and classmates.
