Morton Madness

Love seeing these two get along... now that they are getting older the fights are few and far between.    

We played in a tournament this weekend, there were no playoff games.  The last game in the last 10 min. was stopped by the ref and he walked over asking for a manager.  He called me on to the field and they walked over to get the other manager from the other team.  We had NO idea what was happening.  I had to ask the ref what was happening and he said, "Y'all get your coaches under control"  we were not even sure what was happening.   The game was 0-1 them and I guess the other coach was talking smack to Wilco and telling him that our boys were playing a great game of kickball.  Wilco of course was not too happy about that. So, as soon as I get over to the boys side of the field Jamal takes off and SCORES!  We of course start cheering and the boys are going crazy.  Meanwhile Wilco keeps yelling "great game of kickball boys, keep it up".  I have NEVER heard Wilco yell this before so I was so confused.  About a minute later Jamal...

Officer Mareno was being interviewed at the school for SRO.  Sophia got a text from a friend saying they just saw Seth on TV!  Seth did not even mention it.  I guess he saw the cut down version of it at school and he was not in that one.    

Seth played in the Dallas Open this weekend.  They got third place.    

Last day of school!  The eighth graders were having a last day celebration.  I went up and helped serve Bahama Bucks at lunch for them.  Seth walked in and Cindy gave him one, shhhh, don't tell.  Sophia and her gang all spent the night over at Brielle's so the could get ready for the last day together.  They had a volleyball tournament after lunch so they got all painted up.  They also had their last walk the halls at Hunt.  After the bell rang they all made it to the parking lot to the car.  Sophia was getting upset with all the feels coming that she would not be back in the school and would miss her 6th grade friends.   All the girls piled in a car and headed to get ice cream after school.  Seth was in a soccer tournament so had his first game in Lewisville at 5:30... until they pulled the entire schedule and reworked it due to wet fields.  

The girls had their big sis reveal today!  Sophia got Ally and Maggie.    

It's graduation season!  We know a lot of kiddos graduating! Mallory Rush, McKenna Grant, Brady Blissett, Paige Darlington, Kat Campbell, Meredith Mok, Ashley Yarbrough, Parker Anderson and Matthew Morton
