662 pieces

Luke got a 662 piece lego city set for his birthday from Mimi and Papa. Jonah and Luke could hardly stand it, they wanted it put together so bad. Monday morning around 9:00 I started putting it together. There were 8 bags and 4 instruction books. WHAT???? As many of you know, I am NOT the most patient person in the world :)

Luke of course is no help, he had to get his pillow pet to put under his elbows so they would not hurt :) Then he had to get his blanket because he was cold with the fan blowing on high because his momma was sweating trying to put the SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO piece Lego set together :) LOL He was asking questions left and right and I had to tell him to stop talking or mommy could not put the Legos together, I could not concentrate. Oh, and did I mention Sophia was in my lap for most of the time? That made it a little more difficult.

Finally after 4 hours, I did take a lunch break, I got back to working and finished! To top it off, after I picked Jonah up I put two more Lego sets together. They were only 80 pieces or less.

Here is the Lego City Fire Station.
Did I mention it is SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO pieces??? LOL

Luke turns FIVE!

Luke turned FIVE today! When I saw Luke this morning I asked him if he felt any bigger because he was five years old today. He said, "mommy, I don't feel any bigger." Daddy went to get donuts for the boys and Luke was so excited. For the afternoon we went to Mimi and Papas house for lunch and had basta and meatballs per Luke's request. After lunch we had cupcakes and ice cream and then went swimming. The Caravellas came to celebrate with us since they will be in CO when Luke has his party.

Caravella going away party at the park

This weekend we had a going away party for The Caravellas. They will be moving to Ft. Collins, CO at the first of June. We will miss them dearly, after all... who will be willing to eat at Hoots with us? LOL We decided to have it at Frisco Commons Park so the kids could run around. The kids had a great time playing at the park and playing a little football. The ice cream truck came by three times so finally on the third time we let the kids get some ice cream. They were all so excited!

Julianne found these magnets online and so she got all of us one. They say, " I love Mean Girls". That is what we are all holding in the picture.

Luke graduates from Pre K

Today Luke had his graduation for Pre K. He had to say the pledge to the Christian Flag with Trey and Landon. He actually said it all :) It is going to be really strange not going to the school because I have been doing it every week for 5 years. I am going to miss seeing everyone but will hopefully see them when Sophia can start MDO.

Armpits...

A couple of weeks ago when I picked Jonah up from school he got in the car and said, "Luke, watch this." and proceeded to put his hand in his armpit and start pumping his arm up and down making the famous armpit fart! What a joyous day it was in the Morton household. I got to hear him do that for a few hours and listen to the boys crack up every single time. As bad as I wanted to stop him from doing this I just couldn't... WHY you ask? Well, for one, he would not listen to me and I would get all worked up and start yelling at him and second, I figured he could get it out of his system, oh, and I too was laughing just watching them laugh :)

So yesterday in Jonah's MOOSE folder from school it said, "please ask Jonah about his armpit behavior in the lunchroom". WHAT WHAT? I could only imagine :) I asked Jonah what he did in the lunch room and he said that he put his hand in his armpit and then ate his food with that hand! GROSS dude! I did have to giggle a little and then followed it up with how gross and dirty it was and for him to not do it again.

These boys always keep us laughing... I think Sophia is in for a ride of her life when she gets older!

Jonah's mothers day fill in the _________

So this is what Jonah brought home from school. I do not know who he thinks his mother is, but this is TOTALLY not me! 52??? Come on dude, funny thing is... he knows how old I am!

My Mothers Day from Luke

Today was Muffins with mom at Luke's school. He pulled out my chair for me, asked what kind of muffin I would like and what I would like to drink. When I sat down, this is what was in my spot. I could not stop laughing after I read it.

My favorite thing to cook: go out to dinner (in my defense I just had a baby) LOL
My favorite thing to do: dance. seriously? I don't dance :)
Mommy always tells me: stop it. That is just great, what about I love you or something sweet. ha ha ha
