John Carey and Alex's wedding

Jonah and Matthew were ring bearers in Alex and John's wedding this past weekend. Jonah was actually thrilled to dress up... when we went to try his tux on he asked if we could take it home and play dress up. He said that he looked like a worker man like daddy. Then he looked in the mirror and said he looks like a French man. Not sure what that meant but we laughed.

We had rehearsal on Friday and as we were driving to Burleson a cold front blew in. It is an outside wedding and of course I had no coat for Sophia or myself for that matter, no worries, I am a SOCCER mom! I opened the back of the truck and pulled out two snuggies, and two blankets for us to snuggle in.

The day of the wedding the weather was beautiful, 60 degrees but did get a little chilly when the sun went down.

Matthew and Jonah did a great job during the wedding but Jonah was a little disappointed that he did not get to hold a ring.
