Jonahs thoughts on Seth

Monday the boys had a 9:00 dental appointment and they were beyond excited because they would be missing TWO hours of school! Woohoo

The hygienist called Jonah back and I heard her ask him if he was excited his little brother would be here Friday. Of course they were out of hearing range when Jonah answered.

Not to worry... The hygienist came up front and told Michelle (front desk) what he said so she came and told me.

He told her he was not that excited because he wanted another sister ( which he had said when we found out it was a boy) because he already fights with his brother and does not "want" to fight with his new one.

Good gravy son! You know you choose to fight with him right?

Justin and I have noticed the boys fighting more and more lately. We know that this baby has something to do with it but it is OUT OF CONTROL PEOPLE!

Perfect example: Tuesday I woke the boys up for school at 6:30. It takes about 4-5 minutes for Jonah to actually wake up... we came downstairs, they put on their clothes, combed their hair then headed to the kitchen to eat. I hear them argue and then Luke starts crying! My blood starts to boil, I come in and I kid you not people... It is 6:47 am and I have a man down!!! This momma is NOT happy. Luke tries to tell me what happened as he chokes and blubbers. I can't understand him so Jonah chimes in. I tell him I am not speaking to him and the eyes roll and the under the breath words start pouring out. I finally tell Jonah to hush and can now understand Luke. He told me that he had Jonahs plastic car (that he got from the dental office the morning before) and a piece fell off so Jonah slapped him in the face!

You hit your brother over a PIECE OF JUNK PLASTIC car dude??? Really? Believe it or not, I did not raise my voice as Jonah and I walked to the other room for a little discussion.

Jonahs side of the story... He did not slap him, he "pushed" him on his face! Yes, he demonstrated on himself to show me! FOR THE LOVE!

I reminded him once again that we NEVER lay a hand on anyone!!! I asked him if mom and dad ever hit him and he said "no". I told him if we did hit him every time he did something we did not like he would be black and blue EVERY day of his life :).

He came and apologized to Luke and I am sure Luke is so over apologies by now!

Justin and I talked to Jonah and told him that it is a choice to fight. Just because he is having another brother does not mean he has to fight with him.
