Sophia's Fall Party

Sophia's party was this afternoon so I didn't have to bounce from room to room.  Seth's party was at 9:15 so after his party I went and ran some errands.  I had left my phone at home and when I got home to grab a bite to eat before Sophia's party I had 8 texts, 3 missed calls and 2 voice mails.  Of course one was from Sophia's teacher at 10:30!!!  She was fine but... had an accident and had no extra clothes.  The girl pooped in her pants!  WHAT???  She got some clothes from the office and was fine.  Her extra clothes were not in her bag because she decided to switch school bags, she transferred everything EXCEPT the change of clothes.

So of course it is now noon and her party starts at 1:15.  As you all know, I AM the Mother Of The Year so I decided to eat my lunch then head up to the school with some clothes.

She was fine people!  I am not that horrible!  ;). I got her clothes changed and we were ready to party!  She was a little clingy and wanted to go home.  She said she felt fine but just wanted to go home.  Like I mentioned earlier... I AM The Mother Of The Year so we stayed to decorate the pumpkin and have a snack.

Seth's Fall Party

Seth had his Fall Party this morning.  They decorated a pumpkin with glitter and had a donut hole and oranges for a snack.  When the party was ending Mrs. Jackie told the kids to line up to go outside and Seth was the first one in line.

Happy Halloween

When the kids got home from school they could hardly wait for Trick or Treating!  They wanted to put their costumes on and go.

Mimi, Papa, Uncle Nic, Aunt Carlie, Noah and Claire came over for dinner.  I made basta.  Mmmmm

We had our annual neighborhood picture at 5:30 at Starr's house in front of Frankenstein.

Seth was wanting NOTHING to do with his costume.  He was thrashing all over screaming his heart out :(.  We finally got him dressed and attempted pictures.  Didn't go well...

Jonah was going to Evans at 6:00 to Trick Or Treat with him.  Justin, Mimi, Nic and Carlie took Luke, Sophia, Seth and Noah.  Sophia introduced Seth and Noah to everyone who opened the door after saying trick or treat.

Papa stayed here with Claire and I passed out candy.  The kids all had a great time.

Mommy, Am I...

I picked Sophia up from school and on the way out she said she needed to go potty.  We went into the bathroom, she sat on the toilet and looked up at me and in her normal tone voice which is LOUD, and said, "mommy, am I going to grow a penis"?  I tell her no as I am looking for feet under the stalls next to us praying they are empty, which they were! She replies, "OK, I'll just fart on you".

For the love... With three brothers this girl doesn't have a chance!

Jonah's Mystery Project

Jonah had to read a mystery book and make a house with windows to tell about the book.  I of course cut the pieces and Jonah had fun spray painting the driveway black... I mean his house.

Tuesdays And Thursdays

Do not get me wrong!  Momma LOVES her free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays... I just dread the lunch making and drink making.  Four lunches, 6 drinks.

My View

This might be a little informative but... this is my life as I know it!

I, Alison Sherpy Morton CANNOT sneak into the bathroom... They ALWAYS find me.  Yes, I will lock the door and they will stand out there screaming bloody murder or banging on the door so I break and let them in.

This is pretty much my view!  One positive out of this is the entertainment I get.

My Daughter

It was a gorgeous day out so on our way home from school Sophia wanted her window down.  We are sitting at a red light and Sophia is waving her arms yelling, "hey lady, hey lady, look over here"!   I asked her to stop yelling at that "lady" and she then yells out, "hey lady, you want us to fart on you, you want us to burp on you?  You want us to put frogs on your car"?

I could not get the window up fast enough!  I of course tried all "up buttons" until I found hers!  Thank goodness the light turned green and  that "lady" had her window up!

Cookie Decorating

Meemaw, Aunt Virginia and Christopher came over for lunch today.  After lunch we decorated Halloween cookies.

Aunt Virginia hiding behind her cookie!  Sophia wanted to make a baby face.

Third Annual Wurstzinski Sausagefest

Sean and Monica had their Third Annual "Wurstzinski Sausagefest" today.  We headed out to Ft. Worth around 1:00 to watch the Tech/OU game.  We didn't tell him Daph was with us so he was really surprised to see her.  She couldn't stay long because she had a 5:00 flight.

He made about 10 different German Sausages and had a few different kinds of German beer.  Lance and Lori were there and Jeff Golden showed up!  It's always great to see the guys from Tech.

They had a bounce house for the kids this year and our kids bounced their booties off!

Some of the big kids had gone inside and the littles had gone into the bounce house.  All of a sudden we all hear kids screaming in panic.  I have never seen so many parents move so fast... The bounce house was collapsing on the kids, all three of them were three and younger.  All the parents were trying to lift the house up when it hit me, hellooooooo, turn the thing back on!!!  I ran to the back of the bounce house and as I was running towards the switch Monica had beat me to it!  I seriously felt like I was going to vomit, I had heard horror stories about this exact thing happening...

... and then I saw it!  My blood ran cold and I really did think I was going to vomit!  Standing next to Monica looking up at her was the culprit who hit the switch!  Yep, you guessed it, Seth William Morton in the flesh.

I did what any good mother would have done and snatched him up, walked around to the front of the bounce house where the parents were consoling their crying children, held Seth out and yelled, "whose kid is this"?   Thank goodness everyone laughed it off!

So, it's now getting dark and the storm is coming!  It starts sprinkling so we all go inside and it starts pouring!  We waited it out for a while but it is now 9:00 and the kids are loosing their minds!  We finally decide to make a run for it.  We got SOAKED on the way to the car!  Nothing like being wet and cold for an hour drive home.

The rain actually slowed down by the time the kids were buckled in.  The drive home was not that bad and the lightening was awesome!

Sean's annual pic of "the sausage".  He did this last year and I told him that I swear I had one of him in college doing this!  I of course went through the college pictures and sure enough... there it was!  This just goes to show that some things never change with Studzinski!

Scott and Andrea In Town

Scott and Andrea came in town for a wedding so we got to meet up with them at The Londoner after Autumns wedding.

Mark, Chelsea, Yar and Kev were there too.  We also ran into Josh Warren, Carrie Arne, Gregg Dauphinais and Christy Bateman.

Autumn and Robbie's Wedding

Daph came in town for Autumn and Robbie's wedding.  They got married at Frisco Heritage Museum.  The Mean Girls and hubbies had a lot of fun in the photo booth!

Sophia's First Haircut

Sophia got her first haircut EVER today!  When she was a few months old we did cut some random hairs that were in her eye, only a few so I didn't consider that a haircut.  We only cut once :)

I had gone to a new girl a couple of weeks before to cut my hair and asked her about Sophia.  I made her an appointment and she was not thrilled.  She told me she did not want a haircut.

She was a little hesitant at first until she saw Mrs. Brandy had candy!  She told me she did not want to wear the cape on the way there.  She wouldn't sit in the chair unless she sat on my lap.

We only cut about an inch and a half.  I really wanted to do more but did not want to freak Sophia out.

We kept Seth busy with M&M's.

"We Just Wanted A Puddle"

Sophia was begging to go out in the backyard and play.  I was in the middle of making lunch so being The Mother Of The Year, I told her to go out.  Then of course The Hulk wanted to go out.  So, they both went out and I opened the blinds and a window so I could see and hear them.

After a few minutes I go out to check on them and noticed two empty water bottles in the yard.  As I take a few more steps out I see more water bottles.... then a few more and a few more.

I asked Sophia why the bottles were empty and she said, "we just wanted a puddle".

I went in and got a bag and Sophia had to pick up all SEVENTEEN empty bottles and lids.  About a month ago we put a fridge in the garage... I guess Sophia figured she could help herself.  So glad they were the small bottles!

"But mommy, we just wanted a puddle"!

Run For The Gold

The boys school had their one and only fundraiser, Run For The Gold today. They got to wear crazy socks.  Jonah ran at 8:15 and Luke at 11:10.

Mimi was on vacation so she got to come and cheer the boys on.

Jonah was not able to run because he is still having problems with his chest.  We are going for an X-ray Monday to try and get to the bottom of this.  We were hoping the adjustments would work but they have not.

Blake, Chase, Gabe and Evan

Luke ran his little heart out.  He ran 22 laps.

The school doubled what they were going for!!!  $50,429.29.  All the classrooms will get Apple TV's, new guided reading books and new soccer goals!

Luke's class won the CATERED LUNCH from the Run for the GOLD, for the highest overall class $$ contribution!!!!!  As a class, we also won the popsicle party for the highest overall donations in our grade level and a popcorn party for the most class participation!!

Harper turns 3

Headed to Owens Sausage Farm for Harpers party!  Aunt Karen and Uncle Don came in.  Didn't know if the weather was going to hold out but it did!

We fed the goats, went on a hayride and had hotdogs and cake.  The kids were excited to pick out a pumpkin on the way out.  Sad the Farm will close it's doors in November, we grew up going there.

Happy Birthday Harper!

Wreck 'Em

The kids were in their Red Raider Gear for the game and we thought it would be fun to get a picture.  I do not know WHY I continue to have the thought that a picture would be "fun".  I really have to stop thinking that way.  I am not going to tell you what we went through to get this group picture!  I cannot bring myself to relive that 20 minutes of pure agony.

OK Fine...  It was a beautiful day out so we asked the kids to come outside and take a picture!  You would have thought we were ripping out their toenails with pliers and gauging a screwdriver in their eyeballs!  Heaven forbid they put the   %#{#\~]*. €&;£%#}{+=¥   X-Box remote down for 30 seconds!  The "wha, why? Come on, why do you allllllwaaayyyyyssss want STUUUPID pictures"?

So that was fun... not!  My blood pressure was through the roof, Jonah was in tears because it was too bright outside and he could not see and Seth would NOT sit still!  So, we brought the fun inside and threatened them, got a decent picture and then took away the X-Box!  Maybe next time you will do what you are asked when you are asked!  Wreck 'Em!

One day you WILL thank me for this ;)

The Hulk 19 Months Old

The Hulk is 19 months old!  He is giving this momma a run for her money!  He loves to climb and destroy anything in his path.

He loves school and will just walk right into his class when I get him out of his stroller.

He is so animated and has really started saying a lot more words.

I went to the bathroom and came out to this.
The cabinet emptied and the closet destroyed.
The Hulk loves to be outside!

Cousin Fun

Aunt Karen and Uncle Don were in town for Aunt Jo's 90th Birthday so they came over to meet Claire. We decided to have everyone here so the kids could all play outside.  The girls had a BLAST driving the Mustang.

Later that afternoon we got a game of kickball going.

Seth wanted in on the action so Justin was holding him while playing!
