I do not even want to type this because that means I have to relive it! I am going to bullet this.
Sunday Morning:
- Celebrated Aunt Carlie's birthday at mom and dads (basta and meatballs for lunch)
- Jonah's basketball game
- Park to run off some energy
- Sat down to dinner and Sophia said she was not hungry.
- She headed to the bathroom, started to cry. Momma runs in there and she barfs all over MY FEET!!! Refer to bullet one... (lunch)
- Clean her up and put her in bed.
- 20 min later crying... she has barfs again... in bed
- Put her on a pallet in our room and the poor baby barfed every 30 to 40 minutes until 6:00 am.
Monday:
- Poor girl laid around ALL day and did not say 3 words. As you know that is NOT like her.
- barfed a few more times but only every few hours.
- Scott came over to bring her Zofran, she took it and 30 min later barfed it up
Tuesday
- Still feeling yucky, laid around all day and slept most of day
- wanted to eat a hot dog... against my begging her not to. She ate half
- We got in the car to pick Luke up and two doors down from the house she barfs... in the car! Not to worry, mom was prepared had a ziplock full of paper towels. She got half in the bag! :(
Wednesday
- Still feeling gross... still not talking
- Scott comes back over to look in her throat and feel her tummy (its ok folks... he's a doctor)
- 3:00 am Seth coughed and then cried. I jumped out of bed and he continued to cough and cry. I got up there and knew what I was walking into... kind of. I brought him down to Justin so I could change his sheets and noticed some dark spots on his face. I turned the light on and saw this!!! We freaked the frick out! He coughed so hard he broke blood vessels :( Justin headed to Legacy ER at 5:00 and they gave him Zofran and a PediaSure juice box. He was acting fine. Of course it was an ER copay since it was before 7:00 am.
- Seth did not throw up again. Just twice
Of course it was FREEZING that day. Momma went out to get the mail (NOT in the clothes pictured below) I was running back in since it was cold and I fell... no, I flew across the walkway up to my door... the step stopped me on my hip. Mail flew everywhere. It hurt! Not one of my finner moments.
Thursday
- As you all know... I AM the MOTHER OF ALL YEARS! I had Seth's monitor right next to my ear and turned up. It was 3:00 am and I heard Seth cough, just twice. Against my better judgment (lack of sleep at this point) I did not go up there. He did not cry, just coughed. He slept until 8:30 that morning. I opened the door and it hit me! Not the door... the smell. This is what my poor baby was sleeping in. He was covered. I felt HORRIBLE!!! He was happy as a clam though. Thank goodness he is a stomach sleeper. How scary is that!
- Again... only time he threw up today
- People were freaking me out of Facebook telling me that they were positive for the flu but did not have fever. I called Scott and asked if I should take them to get tested. He told me he would call in some Tamiflu.
- Went to pick up prescription and they said, "$340". pardon me? excuse me? WHAT??? I obviously did not leave with it because I had not even had them tested. At 2:00 that afternoon Sophia was an entire new person... she started talking and has not stopped since!
Friday
- All day clear... and then 7:30 came. We put The Hulk to bed and he started to cry. He never cries when we put him down. Justin went to check on him. The puke fest has started back up. Justin gets him out of bed and he is projectile vomiting on the floor. THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING!!!
- We clean up the mess, bathe him and set up the pack n play. He wants nothing to do with the pack n play. Finally we put him in bed with us so he can calm down. It was now 10:00, every time we would put him down he would scream bloody murder and I did not want him to puke again. I held him until 11:50. He FINALLY fell asleep after 11:00 but I was going to make sure he was OUT before I put him in bed.
Momma is ready for the week to be OVER! Fingers crossed it hits no one else!
