New Years Eve

We headed to Stonebriar for their NYE party.  There was a sit down dinner, open bar, casino, and two bands.  Justin enjoyed the sea food and of course wanted me to try it... I did not :)   Runge ordered a round of shots for the table, then another and then one for our table and the table next to us.  That boy LOVES his shots!  

It is now past midnight and the breakfast buffet is open.  This random guy comes and sits at our table.  Nori strikes up a conversation with him and tells him he looks like Rob Lowe.  That folks opened the flood gates to this guys ego.  He was about to wear me out.  He told Nori that he had never had the "Rob Lowe" but Ashton Kutcher and someone else, I tuned him out at this point.  He was a model  visiting from LA and grew up in Highland Park, need I say more???  He then tells us about how a lot of cougars go after him.  OK dude... I am SO over you now, GO AWAY

Darin and Anita needed to leave right after midnight because they were heading to the Michigan/Baylor game in the morning.  We came home and headed over to Scott and Haleys.

Mean Girl Reunion

So glad to get together with The Mean Girls.  I can't even tell you the last time we were all together!  We need to do it more often.

Target Practice

The kids wanted to go and shoot their new bows so bad.  We loaded them up and headed to the open field across from the fire station.

House Guest

Mom and Dad headed to Kansas City so we watched Winston for a few days.  The kids have been begging for a dog and mean old momma says, NOOOOOOOOOO!  They look soooo happy you say. Yes, they do and they LOVE cuddling with him B U T who is the one who fed him, took him out for walks, cleaned up his poop, let him out to pee and whatever else you do to keep the dog happy?  ME, Alison Dawn Sherpy Morton, mom, mother, maaaaa, mama!  That right there folks is the reason we will NOT be getting a dog anytime soon!  

We did have fun with him, he followed me to the bathroom, laid in front of the shower door while I showered, slept at my feet and was my shadow for FIVE days.  

One night he jumped up in Sophia's bed and he was trying to get settled and Sophia said, "Winston, if your going to jack around you have got to go".  Until next time Winsi.

Duck Hunt

Ronnie and Theresa came up for Christmas and the guys and Kate did their annual hunt.  They only went out twice and got one duck!  They said there were no ducks flying.  Pops and Jason joined them for the first hunt.

Christmas Day

I heard the bigs at 6:00 and they stayed upstairs.  They know the 7:00 rule :)  They could take it no longer and came down around 7:30 and were asking when the littles were going to wake up.  Finally at 7:45 I went to wake them up.  They walked downstairs and they were so excited that Santa had come.

The boys got bows and could not wait to get to Papas so they could shoot.  Jonah went out and did great!  Luke had a tough time pulling his bow back so we were going to need to loosen it.  

They did not think that momma had it in her!  I had to prove them wrong of course.  Yes, that is a bulls eye you see!  BAM, first shot.

Zane and Dakota came home with us to spend the night so Stef, Chloe, mom and dad came over Friday to eat lunch at our house.  They were heading back that night and Ronnie and Theresa were heading this way!
