Sophia had her Christmas musical today. On the way to school I was hit from behind while sitting at a red light. Not sure what the heck happened. We had been sitting at the light for a while and the green arrow had just turned so cars were going to the right of us. I was waiting for my light to turn and then BAM! I may have said a few choice words but then Justin said, "no, this is a good thing, you needed a new bumper anyway" SCORE! Merry Christmas to momma!
So, we pull over into CVS and Justin gets out to exchange information and poor Jenny's Mercedes went right under my bumper! Her car was not drivable, you could hear what sounded like the radiator hissing. YIKES! She had to call her husband to come and get her. She was very apologetic, and she said that she saw the cars starting to go on either side of her so she just went... right into the back of me!
We made it to the school with a few minutes to spare. Of course they walk the kids RIGHT by Justin and I and Sophia was in tears and holding Mrs. Stefanie's hand. The kids did a great job.
No need to look for Sophia in the crowd... she is down sitting on the ground with Mrs. Stefanie and Mrs. Amy. She at least kept her band on her head.
After a week in the shop I got my truck back! I have never been so happy. I was ready to get rid of the Treverse we had for a rental. It was TINY and not comfortable. The bumper looks awesome!
