One of the three AC's went out. The guy came out and went up in the attic and brought a filter down. Ummmm there is a filter up there??? We change 3 filters ever month. We figured we had 3 units and we change 3 filters... only 1 of the 3 units in the attic has a filter.
So, Justin went up to change the filter last week when the heavens were pouring down, thunder and lightening every few seconds and noticed he was getting wet. He looks over and an entire unit is covered in water and the floor is soaked. He looks up to see that one of the vent covers has blown off. Water was pouring in.
We could not get on the roof seeing as how it was pouring and there was lightening so he does the next best thing! He goes and gets the ladder, it's metal and is trying to stop the water from coming in. He got some duct tape and taped away! It worked and he did not get fried from being on the metal ladder in the middle of a lightening storm.
Guess we should be glad the AC went out!
