Today my little turkey turns FIVE!!! Of course he wanted donuts for breakfast and was excited he got to pick out a drink. He asked for a new bow and arrow. We were heading to Arkansas that afternoon for the tail end of Spring Break so we packed up the car and got ready to hit the road.
We made it to Arkansas and it was pretty late so we got everyone situated and in bed. We woke up to a beautiful day Friday and the kids went out and played corn hole, shot their bows and went down to the river.
We woke up Saturday and it was raining and a front had come in and it was FREEZING! We stayed in most of the day until the rain finally stopped. Then Justin and Kev took the kids fishing but that did not work out really well because or the fishing poles.
Sunday we got up and got the cabin cleaned up and hit the road by 10:0 so we could get home to see Stef and the kids, they drove in Saturday night for their spring break.
The drive home was NOT FUN! Within 30 minutes of being on the road Jonah asked if we could pull over because he had to go to the bathroom, we were in the middle of no where, I was driving since Justin's back was out, I told Justin to get him a vomit bag quick. As soon as he got it back there of course he started to vomit. We finally found somewhere to pull over and then got back on the road.
Now we are hungry... so we stop at McCrap and get some lunch to eat on the road. 5 minutes back on the road Sophia says she does not feel well... yep! she puked and then Jonah did again too.
FOLKS... I was over it when Seth started screaming that Sophia's barf bag was dripping! Justin cannot turn around very well because of his back and I am driving 70 mph! I was SO ready to get home!
