Family Pictures

Well... 10 years later we FINALLY did family photos.  Yes, we have had family pics from our phones but not professional pictures done since Jonah was about 4 and Luke 2.  Poor Seth and Sophia.  I called Courtney and she could fit us in so I was on the hunt for outfits and shoes for the boys.

Have I mentioned that my children HATE jeans and "hard" shirts?  They live in athletic wear.  Jonah had a pair of jeans that he wore with his football jersey on game day so I just had to find some for Luke.  After a few days of trying to figure out what color I wanted to go with I finally walked into
J. Crew and told them what I was needing.  I actually walked out of there with all three boys a top.  Justin should be easy since he wears a lot of blue.  Haley and I went on the dreaded shopping spree for me some "skinny" jeans and some booties.

It was picture day... our time was set for 3:00 at the pond down at the end of our street.  It is Nov. 5th folks... it was HOTTER THAN HELL outside and we are suppose to put jeans, button downs and boots on.  Justin was planning on a wool sweater over a shirt and at 2:00 he said he was going shopping to get a shirt that he was NOT going to take one for the team by wearing a wool sweater in the 90 plus degree heat.  He came home with 3 shirts to choose from, ironed one and we were out the door.

I seriously thought we were going to melt.  It was terrible... we had sweat dripping down our face, our backs and it was just gross.  The kids did a great job and we got some great pictures!  We were so happy with them that we used one for our Christmas card and got canvas prints made for the game room!
