Sophia decided she wanted a new room for Christmas and started looking at Pinterest and online. She told me what colors she wanted so I went from there. I wanted to use some things that we already had. I decided to paint Sophia's desk black and a side table that mom has had for 20 plus years. Talk about a pain in the rear! The table had oil based paint so I had to put an oil base primer on and then paint. Justin helped me sand the desk and then picked it up by the crossbar that holds the drawer and snapped it right in half. Dad said he could fix it... he did and then I went to pick it up and when he loaded it up the leg snapped! CAN'T EVEN MAKE THIS STUFF UP FOLKS! So we unloaded it and he fixed it for now!
Now to fix the bench! It had all of these cracks and he said he could fix it so he did. I painted it black and mom and dad recovered it with white fur.
Stacey told me she would help me paint so I took her up on the offer! We did it in 2 days and Sophia was SO excited!
