Jonah Got His Drivers License!

Not even sure where the time has gone!  Jonah took Drivers Ed online and we did parent taught behind the wheel.  We went and took his driving test at North Texas Driving School and he passed... by one point :)  Apparently your car nose is to be behind the stop sign when you stop, after a complete stop you may then scoot forward if you cannot see.  He did not do so hot on the parallel parking in the Suburban like he did at home.  At home he practiced between two cars and for the test it was between two cones.  We headed to Argyle to get his DL and there was a 5.5 hour wait.  They would close the doors before we even got in there so we decided to head home.  

We got up early Tuesday morning and headed to Sherman DPS, we left the house at 6:15 and got there at 7:04 and the doors open at 8:00.  It was 34 degrees and FREEZING and there was already 30 people in line.  Jonah looked like a homeless person but was warm.  He also had a chair that he was sitting in and momma was waiting in the car.  I came out about 10 min. before they opened the doors and we got number 31.  We were out of there by 9:26 and headed back home.  He fell asleep on the way home and then took him to school.  He could not drive alone because we needed to get him added to insurance as a licensed driver and also get him a parking permit for school.
